"My door would not lock, both from the inside and the outside. There was a second kind of lock (that it can only open a few cm), it was alright. The staff (only Spanish) was really kind and I could check in early without extra charge. The free tea was also nice."

"Close to bus stop and lots of restaurants and shops. The rooms are small and need hanging space. There was no hanging space or shelf or closet to put your clothes."

"The staff was very helpful. We had a tour the day we checked out, and they kept our bags in storage for free until we returned. We got rained on during our tour and they allowed us to change into clean dry clothes, and hang out in the lobby until our train arrived. The breakfast was served really early too, which helped us to make our tour on time. Thank you!"

"Perfectly fine for a one-night stopover. You can’t beat the location right near the train station, and everything is walkable. The team was sweet, the place was very clean, and breakfast was good. The street noise isn't ideal for a long stay, but for one night, it was a totally fine, convenient option."

"Nos encantó el hotel, instalaciones, amenidades, servicio , comida, actividades y sobre todo la cercanía con Machu Picchu inmejorable! Gracias a todo el staff : Alex, Joshimar, Alex de la entrada , Elizabeth . GRACIAS!"

"Excelente servicio."

"Not a good experience at all. Run down and dirty. Stunk. Tiniest bathroom-size of airplane bathroom. Got bites all over my arms and legs at night from something. Bites turned into welts and caused muscle pain. Breakfast in morning was cold. Warmer under food was not plugged in. Staff were trying to be helpful but didn’t know English well. Got charged for two nights but only stayed one. Tried calling them for almost 4 months prior to reservation to cancel second night and they never got back to...

"Nreat hotel for a stay in Aguas Calientes. It's not mentioned in the descrition but to get to the hotel, you will need to go through steep steps. Still hotel its nice, has a nice view and the location is great."

"I had a very pleasant stay at Rockrivers Machu Picchu. The hotel has an excellent location, very close to the train station, which makes it extremely convenient for travelers visiting Machu Picchu. Everything was very clean and well maintained. The hotel’s restaurant was excellent, and I especially want to highlight the wonderful service provided by the ladies working there. They were very friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The staff throughout the hotel provided great service, making my stay...

"Bueno relación calidad/precio"

"Omar was an exceptionally attentive and responsible member of the hotel staff. He arranged a quiet room for me so I could get a good night’s sleep before my hike. He also gave me helpful advice on joining the bus queue and assisted me with an urgent medical need. The hotel’s location was also very convenient. I highly recommend this hotel, especially for its excellent service and thoughtful staff."

"Courteous and helpful staff. A bit too close to the train tracks but fortunately the last train was about 10 PM"

"We stayed with our family. Its a really nice location. We left our bags here while we went to Machu Picchu. Adter it was a 5 minute walk to get our bags and then another 5 minutes to go to the train station."

"Finding the hotel was difficult but we were lucky to find the Tourism Office and after a quick call a hotel member appeared and escorted us to the hotel. It is a budget hotel although as it was only for one night it acceptable, well that was until we found out they they had allocated our double room to someone else, and she was travelling on her own!!! The room they offered us instead was directly facing the sun and the temperature was well over 40 degrees even with the curtains closed. And the...

"Property location was perfect, staff were absolutely wonderful and accommodating. Breakfast was so good and they even called our room to make sure we got down before it ended. They offered to make it early if travel required an early departure as well. I highly recommend this beautiful property."
