"What a fantastic way to start experiencing Wadi Rum. Communication from the property before the trip was easy. There is a vehicle that takes you from the parking area to the actual hotel -- this is also where you can reserve a desert excursion. (Note: cash only and there are no ATMs around.) The hotel staff is great. Check-in was easy. My "room" was clean and comfortable -- and cool, as the property had set the AC before my arrival. Great view of the desert from the bed and couch. "It’s a good price for what you get. It’s close to the entrance of Petra. It’s up one of the hills, so the walk home after a whole day in Petra might be challenging after a long day. The rooftop is very nice. "
