"Great location in Cong. Close to everything. Parking wasn't a problem. Very friendly staff. Good breakfast. The only advice is that they don't have an elevator/lift. If you're on the second floor, you will have to haul your luggage up a narrow flight of stairs. Also, like most places in Ireland, no wash clothes. "

"The setting of this hotel is beautiful, and as long as you have a car, it’s easy to get around - we used it for a base for the Galway area. Our stay included breakfast, which was lovely. We even had it in our room one day. A few draw backs for us was: the front desk staff, who were pretty rude and unhelpful when we checked in (but we are used to American level of friendliness of service) Also how early everything closed, the kitchen closes at nine even on a weekend… I wish we had known…"

"We had a beautiful waterview room. The room was beautiful. I only wish we had more time! The falcon walk with Collin and Mary was more than we hoped for. It is as the book says "one of the thousand things to do before you die". The afternoon tea was delightful. We also had dinner in the Dungeon Room.
