We stayed one night. The room was small but the bed comfortable although it was against the wall so not so convenient to get out of. We had dinner in the restaurant as we had received a discount for food. The menu was a bit limited but ok. B'fast was good even if did not have a massive choice. The staff was friendly and the location is walking distance to the harbour and centre of town plus there are a few parking spaces.

The hotel's ambiance is reminiscent of the last century, but also its drawbacks and lack of comfort. The rooms are very small. We had a room with a terrace, and this room had sloping ceilings covering over 80% of the room. The floorboards creaked . There's no soundproofing between rooms. You feel like your neighbor is walking around in your room. Same feeling for the shower and toilet. Breakfast is okay, no hot dishes. Friendly staff

If you need a good night of sleep, this might not

Stayed at this hotel for three days and unfortunately it was one of the worst hotels experience I have ever had. I was unable to sleep in the bed due to the bed and pillow being really uncomfortable, the hotel needs to upgrade them. The walls in the hotel is pretty thin with no noise insulation, if you end up with a neighbor who goes to the bathroom during the nights, that will make a lot of noises in your hotel room which will keep you awake or wake you up if you are lucky enough to get some sleep. The breakfast was basic without a lot of selection. Day 1: Due to condition of the bed and pillows I only managed to get 1 hour of sleep the entire night which was not ideal when you are going to work the next day. Day 2: Due to a flickering light, I got another room this night, while they was fixing the light. Day 3: Back to the hotel room from the first night.I ended up leaving for the airport in Gothenburg during the night as I couldn’t sleep anyway.Only managed to get 1.5 hours of sleep this night. Apart from not replacing the old towels the only positive thing during my stay was the friendly and helpful staff. For reference I have been staying at a various number of hotels in both Europe and Asia the last 19 weeks and this is by far the worst experience. I usually don’t write ratings good nor bad, but this one definitely deserved one, so that they can improve them self for the future. I myself will not be coming back to this hotel the next time I come to Lysekil.

Charm på alla plan

Vistelsen var strålande fin. Hotellet charmigt, personalen mycket trevlig och personligt bemötande. Rummet var litet men oerhört bekvämt. Frukosten var mycket generöst tilltagen och mycket fräsch. Matsalen vacker och trivsam. Jag rekommenderar varmt Strandflickornas Havshotell!

Mysigt, genuint hotell med vackert läge

Mysigt hotell med vackert läge och genuin känsla. Bodde längst upp i huvudhuset, vilket var väldigt trevligt. Rummet var ombonat och sängarna sköna. Den enda anmärkningen var frukosten, som tyvärr inte alls kändes lika genuin som själva hotellet. Tråkigt bröd, knappt ingen frukt, ost och chark som du hittar i vanliga affärer, dvs inget alls speciellt som skiljer sig från vanliga hotellkedjor som tex Scandic. Erbjud ett riktigt nybakat surdegsbröd och mathantverk vad gäller ostar etc. Det skulle lyfta enormt. Även personalen vid frukosten skulle behöva guidning och vägledning. Väldigt förvirrad, ingen koll. På borden stod mycket disk som ingen plockade bort. Det drar ner helheten.
