"What a gorgeous house in a beautiful area, well run by a lovely couple. We had a wonderful stay; this little gem is tucked away on a quiet hillside spot, with breathtaking views of the coast and on the doorstep of lovely walks, and just a few minutes walk to the towns of Lynton & Lynmouth. Our room was lovely; warm, clean and spacious, a pretty and comfortable bed, soft bedding and nice pillows with a great sea view. The communal lounge had a cosy atmosphere, decorated for Christmas and stocked...

There was some confusion over the room that I thought I had booked, but that was really my fault rather than the hotel, but they went to all lengths to make sure we were happy - and we were. Staff are super friendly, not just in the hotel but the restaurant for breakfast and in the attached pub next door. Such a great stay - thank you for looking after us :) "

Nancy & Paddy are very welcoming hosts on hand to offer local knowledge on the best pubs to visit, walks to take or supply any small thing you may have forgotten. "What a lovely stay at Newberry Beach Lodge. The property itself is lovely, spacious and very comfortable. Christopher was an outstanding host, great communication and very helpful as well as cooking a great breakfast! The location and surrounding area are also wonderful and my walking boots got a good outing. I fully intend to come back for a longer stay!"

"The Sawmill was recommended to us by a friend who stayed last year. We arrived to a warm welcome, by the manager, Ryan. The room was warm and inviting, and had everything we needed, (Water, tea, coffee etc, and hairdryer. As we had driven from Poole, we wanted to eat in. The fire is brilliant, the staff friendly, and the food worthy of 5 stars. There was real ale, and lovely melot wine. BReakfast was huge, and filling, all cooked fresh. We would recommend it to anyone."
