  • Lovely view of old Lviv from the top of the tower in the center of Ploscha Rynok. That's the Latin Cathedral, one of the oldest still-active churches in the city. To climb the tower, go up the first four flights of stairs to the ticket desk. The way is clearly marked with signs in multiple languages, including English. At the desk, pay 10 hrivna and then keep climbing up, up, and up until you reach the open deck at the top of the tower. Then enjoy the view!

Old world elegance. Excellent trained staff, sumptuous breakfast buffet, regal and relaxing lobby bar & café with excellent prices (how about one of the best vodkas I have ever had, double shot $2.50 usd!?!), large room, spacious bathroom, uniformed doorman, and a convenient location.

An old historic building close to the center of Lviv. AC problems all the time as they use an old central AC that is not keeping up with the hot temperatures. Only 2 bottles of water a day and no kettles to make coffee or tea. Only 2 English channels on the smallest flat screen TV. Old shower head that sprays water everywhe.

If you get it with a huge discount go for it. If not, not worth the price. When we arrived to the room one of the water bottles was already opened and as I was taking a shower the light fixture fell off. Good thing I was not standing under it. The shower did not work. We had to hold shower head in one hand while washing with another. Shower only had half glass door and it’s a big problem because water was splashing on the floor and I had to wash the floors after all. Not something I wanted to do in my vacation. Towels and bathrobes was grey (supposed to be white). Food that we ordered from 24/7 service was mediocre with tons of mayonnaise on sandwiches and fries was made out of frozen bag.
