Liked: Cleanliness, amenities, property conditions & facilities, communication
The flat is very quiet and comfortable, the bed could be better and the light in the room was not working. The area around the flat, at the night, is not very safe.

We found the apartment decently but not completely clean. Dust here and there, a lot of stains. The kitchen tap and the strip behind it have probably never been properly cleaned, really dirty. The apartment is well equipped but quite a few things worked so-so. One window blind wouldn't go up, another wouldn't go down. A roller blind wouldn't roll up - the mechanism was broken. A number of lights didn't work. The shower/bath selector seemed broken - water coming out of both most of the time. The table around the sink was damaged by damp. And the toilet paper holder was for some reason mounted on the edge - design detail?
Note that there is no AC - during our stay it was a constant 37 degrees in the apartment, thus not suitable during hot summer months. The tap water contained small particles of some kind (minerals?). The fridge has an ice maker and water cooler/filter but we never understood how to get them to work. The host offered coffee capsules but the coffee machine was standard (i.e. not a capsule machine). Attempts to get the host to explain how the water cooler/filter and coffee machine would be handled were met with silence.
The apartment is richly decorated. You might appreciate it or not. In any case, some of the decorations had fallen off and left glue marks on the walls.
The apartment lies in the Gare area, conveniently central and close to the railway station. Less positive is that if Luxembourg has a bad area, it is this. Also convenient is the s
