"We were on our honeymoon and had been staying in very luxury places but we fancied something different for a couple of days which would be an experience that we would remember. To get to the resort you have to get a 4x4 ride which is very bumpy (but you are going into the jungle so what do you expect!). After about 20 mins you make it to near the bottom of the valley. "Wij hebben enorm genoten van ons verblijf! De accommodatie was netjes, schoon en groot genoeg voor een gezin. Ook de locatie was ideaal – rustig gelegen, maar toch dicht bij bezienswaardigheden en restaurants. Het personeel was vriendelijk en behulpzaam, en stond altijd klaar voor vragen of tips. Ontbijt was goed verzorgd. Kortom: een plek waar we ons direct thuis voelden en zeker nog eens zouden terugkomen. Van harte aanbevolen!"

"This property is incredibly situated with an amazing view down Ella Gap. The rooms are built into the side of the hill, with wooden doors and windows openingnupmon the view - so tjink more like a challet (or lodge!) than fancynjotel room. You will need your mosquito repellant. "Great location, right next to the Main Street where all the restaurants and shops. The hotel itself is more of a guest house. Rooms are very basic - but very large. Can easily accommodate 4 people. Breakfast is either sri-lanken or western, they are very generous with the quantities. If you are looking for a 4/5 star hotel - it’s not the place for you. It is a low budget option for families who prefer that kind of experience. We enjoyed :)"

"Very conveniently located in Ella. Close to all the famous attractions and the hotel staff are very hospitable. Highly recommended."

"The view was amazing at Belmont it was absolutely breath taking and the rooms and washrooms were very clean. The breakfast was good as well. The only caution to look out for it there’s bugs that come in the room at night through the door to the balcony if there’s so hidden spaces, but if u stuff a bag or something in those spaces it should be okay. "Wunderschöne Unterkunft, ideal für eine Gruppe von 6 Leuten. Das Staff war super lieb und die Kommunikation im Vorfeld via WhatsApp hat sehr gut funktioniert. Besonderes Highlight ist der Blick von der großen Terrasse! Die Unterkunft ist nicht direkt in Ella. Wir sind mit unseren TukTuks ca 40 Minuten nach Ella gefahren. Sofern man keine eigenes Fahrzeug hat, sollte man beachten, dass PickMe frühzeitig zu bestellen. "

"This place is magical! Truly a stay in the jungle. There’s no road to the cabin so the last part you have to walk on the railway. However the staff were really helpful and carried our suitcases the whole way - so do recommend to pack lightly. The place was amazing and the staff were so kind and helpful. Highly recommend! "
