"A very good place to stay for a few days in Lugano, right in front of the beautiful lake and in the best area of the city for exploring on foot. The staff were extremely kind, and the room was very comfortable, except for the bathtub, whose base is curved rather than flat, making it somewhat unsafe in terms of maintaining balance."

"Poor breakfast service. At 9.45 the staff try to tell you which tables are available as they prepare for lunch!! Time to replace some of the old unhappy staff. Great location, but old building with only one elevator. "

"Room had everything I needed and access to washing machine and tumble dryer was super helpful. Bowls could have been a bit more bowly, they were more for pasta than for cereal. The stand out item was the faff to check in which required going to the other side of town to pay the tax part of check in before getting a code for the lock safe. The check in person was super friendly but the automated emails didn't facilitate two way interaction to see if the check in faff was actually necessary. Still, it was clean and comfortable and now I know the deal I would probably stay there again. Also close to a couple of nice local bars and coffee shops"
