This was a bit older property but was excellent. We definitely recommend it and next time we’re in Lubbock we’d defiantly stay here again.

Rooms were clean, property was nice. My complaint is that the amenities said the pool was heated. It was NOT!

I had booked for 4 rooms and 1 of the 4 was a late check in. Staff had a family member try 3 occupied rooms at 3am because staff had put the wrong person in the reserved room. Since it was grad weekend all hotels in the area were sold out so our family had to sleep in their car with 2 kids due to the hotels mistake. The next morning, the hotel found the “missing room” but wanted to change my family for the night they sleep in their car.
On top of all of that the other 3 rooms we had they changed our Expedia rate because I modified my reservation through the hotel. They wanted to charge us DOUBLE what Expedia quoted us. Hotel was blaming Expedia saying that Expedia changed the rate in the hotel system. When I called Expedia they said that they have no control over prices in hotels systems and that the hotel was lying!!
Finally at check out I got to talk to someone at the hotel that could actually help and after showing proof of the reservations price change. They honored Expedias rate.
What was supposed to be a joyful weekend turned into a literally nightmare for our family. If at all possible just spend the extra money on a better property. This place was not worth saving money. It’s a very dated hotel, and not ADA compliant since they don’t have an elevator on site for the 2nd room.

It was perfectly fine place to stay. Not upscale and we certainly didn’t expect much more based on the rate we paid. The room was quiet and the place was in a good location. Staff was super nice. The shower was nice and hot.
The place is showing age. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable for one of us - the other slept fine. 😀 the room was warm as the AC just couldn’t ever get the room cool enough.
I would recommend if you aren’t picky where you lay your head and if price and location is a factor.

I said okay good bottom floor great.
She said no second floor and we didn't have elevators. You need to drive around the building and park by the door there is like a couple of stairs to go up...I said look I can't do stairs cases....she said no it's really simple just a couple of stairs...we looked EVERYWHERE for the of stairs. All we could find was two flights of stairs. 128 is not on this floor it's got to be the 1st floor. I asked for accessibility we got to 1st floor find 128 try the key like 10 times NO go...someone comes to the door...what the heck... go back to desk and say hey someone is in this room. Noo 245 is yours okay well here is what you wrote. She said we'll this is the longest I've been here guess I didn't realize I wrote the wrong room.
I said how embarrassing it was for us.
Also I still did not see the couple of stairs you mention. I saw 2 flights of stairs. Yeah that's it, okay well first off I asked for a handicap room and now your making me walk 2 flights of stairs after I just had surgery this is not good.... she didn't seem to care at all.
We get up to the room walking these flights of stairs there is a bunch of star confetti all over the stairs and up toward the hallway
So we get in. I'm like hmmm okay not like the photos for sure. There are pins in the wall with decorations hanging still, someone's change

Staff were friendly and check-in was quick. The room was clean and I'm good order. The parking feels a little cramped to me in my truck.l, but all in all I've found it a nice place to stay

Hotel was good, room was big and comfortable perfect for a family. Was close to Walmart and lots of restaurants. Pool was big and outside but was not heated so it was FREEZING! Hot tub was nice and inside in its own room. Breakfast was ok just a basic hotel style waffle, eggs, sausage, cereal etc.

When I checked in they told me room was in second floor, my mother in law has a walker and they told me no elevator the young man was kind enough for to get us a room on the first floor with no complaints and all smiles, it was refreshing to have someone so nice and willing to go the extra mile

Great place to stay for those on a budget. Not fancy and it is an older property, but it was clean, comfortable rooms and has a great staff. We'll be back.

My check-in was pleasant and the staff were friendly and helpful. The property was clean, as was my room. There were several options for breakfast. The purpose of my stay was to get a good night’s sleep. That did not happen. My bed was uncomfortable. Even my pillows were not comfortable. For those who like a really firm mattress and big firm pillows, this would not be an issue. For me it was.

A nice hotel if you need a place to stay for the night. The rooms are in need of an update. If you're looking for a hotel to stay for a weekend, I'd book somewhere else with better amenities.

I felt safe inside my room and common areas. However, the parking lot is very scary, especially for women travel by themselves. It is not well lit on the side or the back and there's always strange guys sitting in their trucks smoking. I was grateful that the front desk guy allowed me to park right in front of the entrance one night when I was by myself.

This was an average hotel. It is 2 story but has NO elevator. If you can’t walk up and down easily - or with your luggage - you are in trouble. I did not see this mentioned anywhere in the description of the property. Breakfast ran out about 8:30 on weekends and was not replenished.
