"Wonderful staff, clean room and comfortable bed "

"Had a great stay...unfortunately upon leaving,my car had a homeless person sitting in the drivers seat The front desk summoned the police and they forcibly removed him. I probably forgot to lock my door...it's all on me.."

"Breathed pepper spray, saw dead body back of hotel, shower hot water broken, AC broken, table leg broken, tried charging $130 for the already broken shower. Hotel kept half the safety deposit on stuff that was broken and didn’t change our room. No drain plug for bath. Staff was super kind and helpful, but the owner/manager kept half the safety deposit of 100. Yet also tried to charge us 130 for a shower handle. "

"There is maybe a change in owner or management because things are very uneven. High-end bedding and robes, nice entrance and gardeners hard at work, but: they had no portable water, but didn’t tell us that until AFTER we booked and paid; our room reeked (musty? mould?), two chairs were visibly very dirty and looked like from a construction zone, and the exterior pane of a double glazed window was broken. Not sure if the mould smell was from the walls or the obvious mould growing in the window....

"This property was cleaned enough to stay but I they used some kind of cleaning solution that burns my nostrils I ended up having a headache. Scary looking guy greeted me and a piles of homeless person’s things scattered right beside my door. I didn’t feel safe and wanted to get out but I already paid and no where to go I was only in Kamloops for a medical appointment. "This is more of a Motel than a Hotel for starters. The area it is located is close to the Hospital which is handy if you are needing a hotel close by. Motel is quite old and in need of some TLC . The air.conditioner was loud and the controls did not work. I had to turn it off which resulted in a very uncomfortable, hot room. Bathroom was fairly clean. Bathtub needed replacement as it was heavily chipped. Walls needed paint as well. All in all, the front desk staff was friendly, rate was good...

"The front desk clerk was very kind and friendly. We had two double beds and two couches. The couches were very dirty and need to be cleaned. The beds were quite comfortable. We kept our shoes on as the floor has seen better days. Very limited parking. "
