"Double Tree is usually a pretty safe choice for a quiet good nights sleep! I dinged a star overall as the bed we had was pretty "broken" down. If you were sleeping on one side or the other, you can feel the "slope" down to the middle, regardless if you are a side sleeper or back sleeper. Usually would not bother me - but now have some back issues and a decent bed is worth it's weight especially when traveling. This is a first at a Double Tree for me. Won't keep me from coming back. Though...

"The room was awesome loved the walk in shower and the little nook for your towel so you don't even have to get out. Loved the mirror as well and the microwave mini fridge and coffee station it was all hidden only thing I didn't like was paying $15 for parking"

"When we arrived and were assigned our room there was an unusual smell and we believed it was coming from the AC unit. We originally thought is was temporary but unfortunately after 30 minutes the smell was still quite overwhelming. We had taken our concerns to the front desk. They were genuinely concerned for us; profusely apologized and instantly assigned a new room to us. My family and I decided if we were going to return in the future to visit our relatives, this would be the hotel for us....

"Pool was closed,only reason I booked was because they said there was a open pool on site to get there to a closed pool,maintenance said it was open and then immediately the person at the counter said its closed very rudely....If you want a basic over-priced hotel...This is your place."

"This hotel is an older property but has been well maintained and looks as though the rooms have had a recent renovation. Facilities and room where clean and well maintained. The Market area with snacks and drinks is across from the front desk and was well stocked. The setting of the hotel was really nice, it backs up to the Forest Akers West golf course and almost feels rural. About 3 miles from Grand River drive but a great value. Enjoyed my stay!"

"The wild goose and was beyond what I ever imagined it was such a nice quiet quaint place to take a nice break and just relax I got to enjoy it with my girlfriend for my birthday Al was amazing and as was the young gentleman that made my breakfast in the morning Paul maybe? I woke up at 6am from a random alarm on accident my fault. I'm terrible with names in the morning unfortunately but they were both so friendly and amazing and Yogi the dog was awesome. But not only were the rooms amazingly...

"The pool had no towel , you can only get 4 towels a day they tv doesn’t work , the staff will follow you ariubd the property , then lick you out after you bring up the problems"
