The Station Hotel

The Station Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"I was genuinely impressed by this hotel. We checked in later in the day, and our family suite exceeded expectations. It was perfect for our trip, with exceptionally comfortable beds, high-quality bedding, plush towels, and thoughtful amenities that rivaled what you would expect from a five-star city hotel. The bathroom was immaculate and appeared to have been recently renovated, while the furnishings and décor struck the perfect balance between refined comfort and the charm of a cozy Scottish country inn. The staff was exceptionally warm, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The restaurant was also a highlight, offering excellent food and a full bar in a relaxed and inviting setting. I would especially recommend taking advantage of breakfast and dinner—the quality of the food and the service were outstanding. Its proximity to the river and the surrounding scenery only add to its charm—the setting looks as though it could have come straight out of A River Runs Through It. I highly recommend it and would gladly return in the future."

"Our room was slightly unconventional, being more like a conservatory with a four poster bed in the middle. Many curtains to close! Plenty of parking. Friendly staff. Excellent breakfast. Would come back. There are some areas that need maintenance. Old furnishings are antique. One negative was that my son stayed in a camp bed in the room with a very thin mattress and wasn’t entirely comfortable. Other than that we had a nice stay."

From the restaurant serving Scottish dishes, to the Quaich Bar with its outstanding selection of whiskeys, our stay here was incredible and memorable. The rooms are well appointed and clean, and staff were beyond welcoming. A perfect spot for day trips to the nearby distilleries."
