We stayed here just for one night as we got into LAX too late to fly the same day. LUCKILY it was just one night. The room itself was as pictured and did the job. It's a basic economy hotel. The location of the hotel isn't the best either. As for the included "breakfast"...it's a joke so don't even waste your time. It's cheap white bread (the kind that you break up and give to pigeons) with jam and even cheaper coffee. On the morning of check-out there were only 1 of 3 elevators working. Because of this, we missed our shuttle to the airport (it leaves every 30 minutes). Overall THIS IS JUST A PLACE TO SLEEP FOR A MAXIMUM OF ONE NIGHT. NO MORE. The fact that they have an airport shuttle and the staff members were nice are the silver lining.

This property was just looking to charge any fees possible. They charged 40 dollars just for parking. There was nothing close walkable distance and the location was way too trafficated.

We were there 3 nights with too many issues. At arrival we found out the pool and gym were closed. This should be made known on the website as we booked a hotel with the intention of using both. Secondly the elevators often were jammed or overused. To wait five minutes to go up or down was norm.The Breakfast window on the weekend was so short starting at 8 and closing at 10. On Sat. the breakfast line was at least a forty minute wait.We left half way through our wait and just got breakfast from elsewhere. The next day our cards to the room stopped working and we had to go down to get them to work. Again took forever to get the elevator and waited in a long time to get someone to help us. We had an electric car they had no electric charging station. not their fault but inconvenient. the gate to leave at times wouldn’t work and on the last day when we were trying to leave no one would answer the “assistance” button. We had to call the front desk which also took forever cause the number kept getting rerouted to reservations and it took forever for someone to answer the front desk. At that point they pressed a button from inside that operated the parking garage gate. In isolation most of the things seem “no big deal” and make my review sound like I’m just being impatient. However when you put them all together the experience just sucked in comparison to how much it costed! Never staying there again for sure!

Property did not advertise that the gym was closed. Only one elevator was working at times, and front desk staff would jump the line to use it. Parking was $42 per day. Parking garage, at times, did not feel safe.

We had a short overnight stay at La Quinta LAX between flights and it was just right for what we needed. Comfortable, quiet, clean and free shuttle to the airport every 30 minutes.

Thankfully i only had to stay one night, but the service was poor. Maintenance was being done during busy hours. Only one elevator worked out of the 3 they had. Towels smelled funny and the overall area was lacking luster. My friends were also discriminated against.

Hotel is under renovation which is awesome but did limit some amenities (gym and pool closed, bar closes early). The room was great - included was a microwave and a mini fridge which was really helpful if you have an extended stay. You do have to request room cleaning 24hrs in advance and they service between 9am and 2pm (which we actually preferred since we got up late most days and weren’t constantly wondering if we were getting serviced or woken up early). Only 1 out of 3 elevators was working during our stay. Staff was overall friendly, we didn’t have any issues.

They were in the middle of a remodel when we stayed there so it was bit noisy. Limited walkable dining options, but there is a 24hr Starbucks next door. It’s close to LAX, which is why we stayed there, but not much else. It was ok, but I may pay more for a nicer hotel next time.

The room itself was not bad. Gym was closed due to renovation and the bar closed early. I rated overall 3 star due to a protest happening all weekend during our stay. It was VERY loud with start times at early as 5am. As I am aware the hotel is not responsible for what happens outside their vicinity, it was the fact the staff didn’t seem to care or want to accommodate another room on a different area of the hotel. They informed protests cannot happen on the weekend and unfortunately they could not do anything. After a second call was made early Saturday morning, the staff informed us we would be added to a list. When we got back to our room Saturday around midnight (Sunday morning really- night before we checked out) The staff had moved our room without any communication made and we had to find out when we arrived to our room and could not get in. It felt more as a “get back” due to our multiple complaints and requests for some type of accommodation and assistance in having a better experience. I recommend this hotel as long as you have no issues, but if issues arise, you y may have difficulty with the staff having any empathy and motivation to assist you.
