We booked this hotel because of its location to pasadena. Area around is good and location is close to freeway. Front desk people were not friendly it was like we were an interrupting him when we checked in. Hotel advertises free wifi but never gave us a password. Beds are average. Tv channels you get a very large selection which is nice if you spend time in the room. Was nice to have a fridge but it was an antique. There was a lot guests that were staying at this hotel for the concert the price was good for what we needed and when we checked out the front desk person who by the way is behind what looks like bullet proof glass said nothing and had a very angry look on his face so they need a better staff. If you need a cheap hotel for area this is the one just don't expect any level of service cause you won't get it.

Worst night ever
We're kept up til about 4 am by noisey neighbors, awakened at 6:45 to a group of men (about 6) holding a loud conversation outside our door. Couldn't wait to leave.

I have stayed at many "budget" hotels and can tell the difference when owners try to make a difference in guest satisfaction. This hotel disappointed in many levels. The room was straight out of the 80's the bed linen and decor haven't been updated since. I picked this hotel for location and cost since I was only going to sleep there. The water faucet leaked. The walls were thin. The bed was lumpy and uncomfortable. It was a complete dump. I would recommend you look elsewhere.

HORRIBLE!!!!
That hotel is absolutely not recommendable. The mattresses were full of dirt circles. It seemed that this mattresses haven't been changed since the hotel opening. The bathroom was also dirty with hairs and seemed not to be cleaned before. As soon as you switched of the receiver adult movies were running. That was shocking for my kids, because we were totally unaware of this. There were no warnings or hints from the service member before.

Very minimal, bare bones hotel. Clean - comfortable bed. Commercial location nothing near by-no restaurants. Towels were worst I've ever had -thin, very rough, 1 small bath towel and 1 washcloth each- not even a hand towel each. No blanket--only sheet and bedspread and would have liked 1 more pillow on king bed--usually there are 4 not 3. No coffee/tea in room or lobby. only ceiling lights no table, floor or wall mounted lamps

Hotel is a dump. No kleenex or wastebasket in room. Towels were threadbare. Bed linens were torn. Wi-fi did not work, nor did the tv on the second night. Only helpful touch was the fridge.

Bad Motel
This hotel was not a great one. I don't understand why expedia would recommend this hotel to me. I felt overcharged for the services that this hotel did not provide. It was an extremely small room with some electrical sockets that did not even work. The toilet had some paint that was chipping off, and it was not supported entirely well. The worst of it all was that the room smelled really bad.

I stayed there two nights. If not for the fact that I had prepaid this stay for two rooms and two days, I would have left after the first night. Tiny towels that were stiff and a bit abrasive. room smelled a little musty on first night but was fine the second, I guess it just needed to be aired out. The bed was very hard which was fine for me. Even Motel 6 would have been better.

I make reservation for 2 nights . the first night the Jacuzzi is not working, the carpet is broken, the bathroom is so small and horrible. the staff allow us to change room for the next day. On next day morning, the housekeeper non stop yelling outside the room and knocking. she want us to move immediately. we already put the do not disturb sign in front of the door but she keep knocking the door, the window and yelling us. her attitude is so impolite. the second night we change to the other room, the Jacuzzi is not clean, the sink is separate with the bathroom. the tv remote cannot control the volume of the tv.

Decent motel for the price
Nice and clean, a bit dated but comparable to others in this price range. We felt safe and secure during our stay. Location is convenient, with lots of shops and restaurants close by, especially Chinese/Asian ones. Will stay next time we visit as well.

Great hotel to stay at
Great place to stay . Staff and management cool. They take pride in the surroundings, nice rose garden, within reach of laundry, supermarket , shops, restaurants, bus stop and an all night service station food shopping. Would stay there again. Perfect, economical home away from home.

Do not recommend to anyone!
Phone numbers on the wall paper in the room. Paper thin walls. Bed moved from activity in the room next to us. Lots if street noise. The outside light made the room bright... Holes in curtains. Heater cut off after a few minutes. Therefore, the room was cold. No hangers but you get a toothbrush with already applied toothpaste. Front office was very nice!!!

Expect the worst and it'll be ok.
I have spent many nights in below average motel rooms. Flamingo Inn with just a touch of attention to detail will dramatically improve guests' experience. First glance everything seemed above average but then the details started wearing down my patience... - Hot water worked in sink, not so much in shower - Tub/shower uses the "all the way on" type of control that I hate - Deep musty smell in bathroom / sink area - Remote wasn't programmed for the TV - No middle blanket for the bed, so we were stuck using comforter (which we don't like to do) - Zero extra towels + parking was easy and great + bed was clean, sheets pressed, mattress wrapped in plastic + room was somewhat modern in styling and paint Ultimately, I have lived in motels for weeks to months and this one? I would have moved out after the 1st night.

3 big problems
no electrical outlets except behind king bed, dragged it out and ready to go (how bout an extension cord at least) The room has DirectTV, great. I turned on the TV without DirectTV box on and got closed circuit p**n, if I had kids with me I'd really go off about it. Phone didn't work.

It is centrally located by fast food joints, grocery stores, coffee shops, etc. and the I-10. The rooms are as clean as you should expect for the price you pay. The carpet is pretty dirty though. Internet access is on and off though. I was there for a few days and mine was working up until the last day where I couldn't get any access at all. Just be aware of that. The bed was hard, but if you like firm beds, it's welcoming. Other than that, the air worked well and if you are not expecting much or have high needs, it works well.

Just to sleep is ok because it doesn't have a pool and it is a little bit far from everything you want to see in Los Angeles. There is a place beside the hotel where you can buy bread, milk, etc...

The room wasn't realy clean. There are some tv wires hanging around the room and the ground was that dirty that white socks gonna be black in a minute. The wireless internet only works in front of the door or at the parking lot. Wouldn't stay there again. Pay ten bugs more and go to another hotel/motel.
