My stay at the hotel left much to be desired. Despite its affiliation with Hilton Tapestry, the experience didn't meet expectations. Southern California's winter brought an unexpected chill to my room, exacerbated by the air conditioner arrival temperature being set at a brisk 62 degrees. The heating system proved problematic, with maintenance offering a brief solution that unfortunately didn't last. Resulting in them bribing me a space heater on the Eve of day two.
The thin walls exposed me to the hustle and bustle of the hallway and loud stomping and laughter sounds from both above and next door. While the valet staff was notably polite, the front desk encounter was marked by the mid-Day gentleman’s sarcasm and rudeness, overshadowing the positive aspects.
In addition, the hotel's dated ambiance persisted despite attempts with modern furniture noticeable wear and tear on the bathroom diminished its intended effect. In the future, I'm inclined to explore the offerings of a newer property from their competitor around the corner, hoping for a more comfortable and accommodating stay.
