In the mist, lying there all by itself is the America's Best Inn. It is safe, clean, quiet, affordable, and not to far from all of the major attractions. IE Disney, Magic Mountain, Hollywood, Universal Studios. A little, tucked away jewel.

The worker at the front desk amazing super sweet, very kind and helpful but with that being said there was mold in the restroom parts of the tub were falling off I found a injection needle on the floor blood stains on the sheets dust all over the walls blood on the walls holes in the walls very much not safe nor kept up to date I regret staying there

Staff was unfriendly and very rude. Demanded 100.00 cash deposit to check in and would not issue a receipt . Room was very unkept and dirty.
First room the air conditioning did not work.
Would never stay here again.

Regarding the deposit policy, we do disclose this information in our hotel policies online in hopes that this would alleviate any confusion during the check in process. We are sorry to see this was not the case. We do wish you all the best in your future lodging endeavors however.
I’m not a huge critic of the cleanliness of hotel rooms but The room I stayed in had a bunch of burn holes in the bedding from someone smoking (I had a non smoking room) and the smell was terrible worse than most public bathrooms… the room wasn’t swept properly a lot of small debris on the ground.

For the breakfast 2 mornings there was nothing out for the Danishes or any juice or anything. Coffee was not anything like coffee.

What I didn't like:
The floors are hardwood(or a reasonable facsimile)and after walking on them for just a few minutes barefoot the bottoms of my feet were BLACK!
Internet was not good. Most of the time I couldn't get online at all and when I did it booted me off after pausing my usage for just a few minutes.
No coffee in the room. Had to go to the office to get some.
The arms of the one chair in the room were filthy.
No microwave.
Had to flip a light switch to turn on the refrigerator, which would have been okay if we had been told in advance.
The one thing I did like was the bed and pillows.
All in all it is a pretty dreary place. We would have moved except for the fact that we had already moved from another hotel that was worse!

It was horrible. Literally the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever had. There was stuff on the ceiling that no one cleaned, when we called to have someone come clean it so it wouldn’t leak on us they told us we had to do it. The room was so dirty that there was caked on dirt everywhere and cob webs. It was FILTHY

Would not provide a receipt for our cash deposit.
The check-in process was frustrating. The need of a $100 cash deposit was not clearly stated and we knew nothing about it until check-in. Fortunately we had the cash with us. However, he refused to give me a receipt for the cash deposit. I was told it was because people would try to claim it twice, but there are better ways to deal with this.They could simply have people sign the information card saying they received a refund on their deposit. The room was adequate and clean, but we will not return.

I had to switch rooms because the shower was terrible, one line of water, the bed was dirty, there were random hairs in the bathtub, and in the bed, once I switched rooms it was a bit cleaner than the other but the shower still had the same problem, I used to stay with this company often but never again they have gone cheap.

The staff was great and amazing. Very friendly. The room we stayed in was dirty. There were stains on the blankets and sheets. Luckily we brought our own. The remote didn’t work for the room on the TV. We had to keep getting up to raise and lower the volume and change the TV. Bed was decent to sleep on & the air conditioning and heater worked great.

The people are wonderful. The property desperately needs attention. No continental breakfast although it is advertised as having a breakfast. Our room was filthy. The wires for the smoke alarm were hanging from the ceiling (no smoke alarm), the molding around the bathroom mirror is falling off, the refrigerator wobbled all over, baseboard tiles in the bathroom had fallen off, the bedding has cigarette burns in it (non-smoking room). I knew it wasn’t a four star motel when we booked the room, but this isn’t even a one star. The only good point is the people. Friendly and personable. One reason we booked here was the description said it has a breakfast, but it doesn’t and the restaurant they advertise doesn’t serve breakfast (it’s a Chinese restaurant). You have to travel some distance to fine a breakfast restaurant unless you have a McMuffin every morning. So disappointed 😢.
