"Hotel building itself is fine - rooms clean and functional. Unfortunately the amenities are not as expected. Firstly, there is no elevator. We had a ton of baggage with us and had to take three trips up the stairs, luckily only to the 2nd floor. Cannot imagine if we were on the 4th floor. As well - we booked this hotel expecting an airport shuttle - when we requested to schedule one, the woman at the front desk informed us they do not offer a shuttle. I showed the Expedia page listing the 24hr shuttle service, but she shrugged and said that was Expedias issue. About half an hour later, we returned to the front desk to find out if we could book at least a taxi, and she said the hotel sub contracts a transit service for 300 Rand flat. It was that or an uber, for a 1.5km drive, so we booked it. At the shuttle the next morning, we learned it was actually 150R per person, we had 4 people (600R). The shuttle driver was kind and understanding, and he cut us a break, but that was not his job to do honestly. Overall, the experience fell short. Again the building and the rooms are perfectly fine. But if you are expecting an elevator, an airport shuttle, or an honest/cooperative front desk service, this is not the hotel for you. "

"I cannot Rave enough about this GORGEOUS Manor , This is a place people dream of living , a place Brides would remember forever , It is run perfectly and being OCD is absolutely SPOTLESS , The Staff are a pleasure to work with , nothing is too much, Leon and Luke you do more and above to keep Vredenburg Manor House the way it is, I could not find a fault , both your perfections show in your pride of this property , parting is not easy , Thank you and we will be back sooner than later Sherryl & Bob USA "
