"This prooerty is in need of some updating. The staff that we encountered was really wonderful, with the exception of check in, he was flat and not friendly. Not what I’d expect at a front desk. Our room. The carpet was “sticky”. I don’t know how else to describe it. When we pulled our bedspread back to go to sleep, there was so much pilling it felt like sand and worse than that there was hair caught in it. How gross is that!? We got clean sheets and changed the bed ourselves. The towels had stains and hairs on them as well. We booked the room for 3 days and asked for it to be cleaned each day in hopes that we’d get better sheets…we didn’t. They were all gross. I took pictures. We ended up going and buying new sheets to sleep on, these hotel sheets were that bad. Another things that bothered me is their breakfast. Most Holiday Inn’s offer a complimentary breakfast. You pay for breakfast at this hotel. We went ahead and prepaid for one day. The $14 breakfast buffet is NOT worth $14. It should be part of your stay. Powdered eggs, bacon, sausage, reheated hash browns (like every other hotel) yogurt and fruit, different breads you can toast yourself, oatmeal w/toppings. Cereal. We stay at Holiday Inns often and I’ve literally never had a complaint. They’re typically ship shape. Fresh sheets, towels, nice breakfast, clean establishment and friendly employees. This isn’t it. The employees are their saving grace here. "

"Very disappointing stay. The area around the hotel had a very strong trash smell throughout the streets nearby, which made the experience unpleasant. The valet service was especially disappointing. The staff was unfriendly, and when I requested my car, it was left near a trash area instead of the hotel entrance, with little assistance or communication. I had to carry and load luggage on my own, which was frustrating and inconvenient. On top of that, there was confusion regarding the pet fee, which added unnecessary stress to the stay. Unfortunately, this experience did not meet expectations."

"Excellent hotel and great experience overall! The staff was friendly, professional, and very accommodating throughout our stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the location was perfect for enjoying everything New Orleans has to offer. The atmosphere of the hotel was welcoming and relaxing, and we truly enjoyed our time there. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New Orleans!"

"They use pictures of other rooms on their listings , in our case we clicked on the room style “ one bedroom suite with balcony “. The pictures of it that then loaded ( we checked on all the travel sites and they do this on every single one) were of a room with a fireplace, an enormous bathtub and marble bathroom, and a large dining table, and it plainly stated on our confirmation stated 800 and some odd square feet and a 55 inch tv. NONE of which we had One front desk clerk told us those are not even their hotel. The other told us “ thats our presidential suite and you can’t have that “ We do expect to be shown pictures, even if dated our doctored, of the actual room we chose. And at least the listed amenities listed under that room style. What we did receive, was a suite, with a motel six style bathroom, a coffee maker that didnt work, lamps that didnt work, harsh fluorescent lighting, with an interior balcony over enormous air conditioning and exhaust fans that were loud even with the door closed. We received absolutely zero response or even apologies much less consideration when we voiced this "
