"An old favourite hotel given a makeover by new owners. Looks massively refreshed especially spa and pool. They almost have it right … 2 observations…. Pricing a bit high. Breakfast needs some work … for an aspirational boutique hotel should be better than this … stale croissants and poor orange juice."

"We arrived earlier and were helpfully directed by a receptionist (Ozgen) about the location of their on-site car park (available on a first-come, first-served basis); the rate information on a 24-hour basis (£8 instead of £10); and how to log in car's registration number once it's been parked. We were unable to check in early, but left our suitcase securely in Ozgen's hands until we came back. Whilst waiting, we enjoyed basking in the beauty of the sea and the sun (as well as the shingle). We were also witnessed the Airbourne shows with the rest of the beach goers. Our double room was spacious with an entryway, my requested electric fan, and an ensuite bathroom. The main room had hinged picture windows, a mini fridge (cool enough for preservation level), or similar to what their advertised double room images. However, the mirrors' placements are different with no luggage rack, but a luggage cabinet. The actual ensuite bathroom with shower/bathtub combination. In my opinion, it was better because of the inset basin, which provided ample space for toiletries and other bathroom essentials. The entryway had a wardrobe cabinet with the safe and the iron/ironing board. Wish the carpet were thoroughly clean; another set of pillows was provided; and the windows' openings are in different directions to provide more privacy. There was a drinking water dispenser at the reception; and a bar balcony for relaxing nights whilst listening to live background music."

"Excellent stay ,staff and service was really friendly and professional. Unfortunately visited on the hottest weekend, thus far and rooms were very hot as no air -con; but had a very substantial fan to help with the situation.. Also helped having real quality cotton sheets and bedding, a must in my opinion. Would happily return."

"The Tiger Inn was very lovely. The Minnie was a great room, very clean and wonderful amenities. Excellent staff who were very attentive to guests' needs. Breakfast was absolutely amazing - if we had longer we would have ordered hot items but what ate was so delicious and was enough for us. Drinks at the bar were great - a pint beer and a Pims cup (so yummy!!). Didn't get a chance to try the food at dinner because we ate a very late lunch. Would 100% stay here again and would stay at least 2 nights."

"Our room was right next to the pub overlooking the picturesque village green. The Grace room was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. An effective floor fan was provided in the hot weather. The room was characterful with a stable door and pictures relating to the local area. The restaurant menu was great with a good variety of small and large plates. We had fish in beer battered cod and chips and really good mushy peas. Also the delicious slow cooked beef with fries, mushrooms grilled tomato and green salad. Service in the restaurant was really quick despite it being a busy, sunny Friday night."
