The evening meal was slightly disappointing. However, it didn’t warrant a fuss. Breakfast was excellent and plentiful. Alfriston is a small Town with several restaurants and bars. Also, a few shops. A short walk to the Church and Clergy house to visit. "

"Wonderful stay just 15 mins away drive from the cliffs, Val was so attentive and also was really kind to give us an upgrade spontaneously. This is a must if you travel around these areas and want to find a relaxing time."

"Nice place! When you arrive at the pub it doesn’t look the best place ever but the rooms are in great condition clean well located and very functional. You access by a separated door so don’t have to get into the pub! Good place! Parking can be tricky as there are only four spaces and they are in high demand always! I didn’t have a problem parking on Saturday afternoon and night! If you want to get good value for your money you are in for a budget option and don’t mind a bit of noise and the pub this is a great option! I would get back certainly!"
