Nice spot cabins were clean and cozy. Jeff the manager was really nice and friendly. bed was really comfortable. Kitchen was fairly well stocked with pots. It was great having normal TV stations so you could get around on the TV guide and the local stations for weather really easy. The clam cleaning station was nice. easy access to the beach.

We love Shakti

From the time you arrive, you feel the enchantment. Checking in was a breeze, the staff is super friendly and there are puppies that welcome you as well. The rooms are accommodating and cozy. Everything you need, is in the room. Rooms are pet friendly and there is a large courtyard for walking. You have a trail to the beach, takes a 5-8 minute walk or you can drive a block or two and take your vehicle to the beach. I planned this vacation for my wife, myself and our fur baby. We came with a lot of “baggage” to unload and found this is DEFINITELY the place to let go. We rested our bodies and minds and our fur baby did too. We all slept good, because the beds are comfortable and we were relaxed. If you want to go shopping, there is plenty of that, just a few miles south. The grocery store is a few blocks north. You really don’t have to leave at all if you don’t want. You can buy charcoal at the office, free lighter fluid and grills in the courtyard. Just bring everything with you.

We stayed for two nights and had a quiet relaxing enjoyable time. The only downside which nobody can control was Mother nature. It rained almost the entire time we were there so getting to the beach was kind of it wet and Soggy event. But they're quietness and coziness of our cottage/cabin was just what the doctor ordered. The owners were very friendly and took time out of their day to chat with us for a while upon arrival. Would highly recommend

Nosy complaining owner.

We checked in at 10pm after a 7.5 hour trip. Unloaded the truck to the room and talked for a while then went to bed. The next day the woman owner knocked on the door telling us we where too loud and our Neighbors who where already left complained. All of the units are separated with a carport and we could not hear our neighbors. New people move in next door and went to the fire pit and had a nice fire and as soon as they got it lit the "Owner" came to them and said they had to stop. Then kicked them out the next day. I feel the owner is a little power crazy. If you say there be ready to hear the owner complain. Perhaps she should own something out of the hospitality industry.

We had a wonderful time staying in this small village of cottages. Covered parking at The Cottage was nice. The beach was a short 5-10 minute walk down a beautifully maintained path. I would definitely recommend this place to others. The staff were amazing.

Lazy get away

The property is old but well maintained and clean. The bed sits a little high and is a little stiff but wasn’t uncomfortable. Our only issue was how small the bathroom is. It is just very tight in there. Overall we would go back. And take our dog next time.

This is a fun option to the usual motel experience. The cottages are set in a quiet and beautiful grassy and treed location. The cottage itself took me back to times spent in my grandmothers cabin on a lake in Idaho.
