"The staff couldnt have been more helpful or friendly. The evening meal and breakfast both very nice. But the property needs serious investment, the communal areas all need a tidy up and a clean. None of the radiators worked or had been switched on and the bedroom was only warm when under the covers on the bed. Had to ask for toilet roll for the room amd towels for the room - got one of each and then the shower spat at you with luke warm water. Could be fantastic, probably was once, but wouldn't go back sadly."

We would normally have stayed at the Premier Inn in Dumfries every time we come over from NI to visit family but will definitely be staying in the Holiday Inn in Dumfries from now on. "
