"Good basic hotel, comfortable warm rooms, easy free parking - decent breakfast and dinner avaliable. A bit tired around the site but reasonable prices reflected."

"A pretty good spot to spend an evening, but with the price you pay you would expect things to be a higher quality than what you actually receive. The staff are incredibly nice and helpful, and the view from the dining room is gorgeous. The food is pretty good but again the price is higher than the quality, and they have a limited beer selection. The room was out of date but everything worked. We were in a back room where we could smell cigarette smoke anytime anyone went out back. The bed was comfortable and it was a quiet spot, but the wifi in the room was very unreliable."

"Breakfast excellent choice. Dinner super. Room great view. Staff very helpful especially Nadia at desk. Easy to park at hotel and train station across the road. Packed lunches excellent too. "

"Beautiful location, quaint little spot. I would give it 4 1/2 stars but I didn’t get a wink sleep because the mattresses were less comfortable than sleeping on the ground in a tent. It wasn’t even what I would call a mattress. The double bed was actually two twin box springs pushed together. Unbelievable that such a beautiful and quaint hotel wouldn’t spend a little bit of money making sure their guests got a comfortable night sleep"

"The hotel has a great vibe and the staff are lovely. The views are incredible. The restaurant wad busy but the staff were great. Portions were generous and the food was good. Our only real complaint was our room #31. I understand old hotels don’t have lifts, so it’s a long way up to the top floor with luggage. Our room had water damage around the windows. One of the windows was taped shut. New drywall wasn’t even patched. Stains on the wallpaper around the walls by the windows. A painting for the wall was in closet and wall plugs left dangling on the wall where it hung. When the wind picked up the window and possible exterior sheathing kept rattling. As we left we saw other rooms open that were being cleaned. They were in much better shape. That room should have been repaired before being used."

"Front desk staff is rude and you do their entire job on an iPad. Construction is extremely intrusive. "

"Pillows are really bad, one bed light was broken and just hanging, bathroom mirror was aimed at the floor and wouldn’t stay up, towel heater barely warm in parts. Hallway had a musty smell, not as strong in the room. "

"The cleanliness of the shower was questionable- it may just have been old. Staff were friendly and our dinner was adequate."
