"Horrible stay. There was no indication that you will share a bathroom with other people on your floor when making the reservation online. The AC was broken and we asked about it everyday if they could fix it or if they could give us a fan. There was no accompanying until the last night, the third night they moved us."

"Pros: Excellent location Rooms are clean, modern and well-maintained Front desk and phone customer service staff are polite and helpful Cons: This was our second stay at The Elser. Our first stay was pleasant overall, and I believed I could avoid the concierge issue the second time around. During our first stay, we were approached by two different concierge staff members on two separate occasions, each time being pressured into paying a tip for luggage assistance we did not request. It felt like a forced service rather than a genuine offer of help. For our second stay, I learned from this experience and instructed my family to hold onto their own luggage at all times. We successfully used the hotel's luggage storage service by ourselves before check-in. However, after check-in, when my husband collected our luggage, a staff member attempted to take it to our room. We politely declined and confirmed with the front desk that we were permitted to carry our own bags — which they confirmed. The concierge staff member became visibly angry, raised his voice saying "I don't want to touch your stuff, I don't care," and rudely dropped our luggage on the floor. Travelling with an 85-year-old wheelchair user and two 70-year-old seniors, this made our whole family feel unsafe for the remainder of our stay. The front desk staff were wonderful throughout. This issue is solely related to concierge behavior."

"Hotel outdated, Room was not clean, only 2 elevators created traffic amongst incoming and outgoing guests, appreciated proximity to stores/mall "

"Clean room. Nice area. Amenities nice. However, only had one bathroom for room for 6 people. And no balcony as advertised in the photos. "

"The bedding had stains on it as well as the towels, whenever calling down to the front no one would answer so we’d have to go down to get what we needed. When i asked for toilet tissue for the bathroom they gave me a box of kleenex. room looks nothing like the picture and very small"

"Fantastic condition, very helpful and friendly staff. Extremely high-tech. Tight quarters though well worth the trade off for the phenomenal location as it’s right in the heart of Brickell, next door to great restaurants and a 5-minute walk to the train/bus. "

"Great staff, great amenities, very accommodating with access to hotel before and after checkout. Rooftop is nice but smaller than expected, music extremely loud for the small space and some of the cushions had a weird smell and were dirty. "
