"We stayed here one night as a last minute getaway from the heat back home . The property was spotless and everything was so thoughtful , so many personal touches showing the care they take with their guests . They went above and beyond when I had an issue with my car charging and drove me all the way to it, which would have cost £50 in a taxi. My children loved the animals on site and the owners were very patient answering all their questions ! Thank you so much for your kindness !"

Very creaky rooms, I could hear the next-door people quite clearly walking about on the squeaky floorboards and even talking. I dread to think what it would be like in a fire – very confusing interior layout and no signs to the staircases, so that you can easily get lost. Not enough parking either. And the postcode is the same as the local railway station - so it’s hard to find unless you know where it is. The breakfast...

So friendly and helpful. They also had lots of games and toys and a garden which were great for the kids. "

"Very friendly staff. Our room was in the main building up more stairs from the entrance. We were on the top floor. He took my suitcase and carried it up 4 flights of stairs. Lovely family room with fantastic views. The bath was wonderful! Complimentary waters daily and biscuits topped up. Rooms can be serviced daily. "Be careful if booking on Expedia! It clearly states a double room can sleep 3, when actually it’s just 2! I booked thinking there must be a pull out bed but unfortunately there isn’t. Luckily there were only 2 of us but we did want separate beds. Other than that, one of the most clean and well presented rooms I’ve seen. Very friendly staff."
