"The property was of a basic nature and very tired in places. The bathroom paint was peeling off the walls. The bed was a small queen bed that wasn't big enough for 2 adults to get a good night sleep. The mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Due to this we left the property early and had to book a hotel. I also tried to contact the property as advised by Sykes cottages, but my calls were unanswered and not returned. Overall a disappointing stay. There are plenty of better rentals available."

"Stayed overnight on Friday after attending the festival at Bolesworth.
Beautiful property and Heather the host was really lovely.
Fabulous home cooked breakfast and nothing was too much trouble.
We will definitely return x"

"The double beds were comfortable pillows awful Had to change rooms for second night twin beds not large enough moved easily Pillows equally as awful . No walk in showers which make it difficult for people not able to use bath. "The hotel staff are good especially reception and the gym but the spa which I was looking forward to it Wasn’t great
You have to pay extra so my husband couldn’t use the facilities even though I had 3 treatments
Which were not great the therapists are only just out of training yet they charge full price
I must admit I was lucky with my facial which was excellent
But the whole spa experience is not worth the money"

"The Staff were very helpful including finding us a new room when the first was too noisy (David). Including a complimentary breakfast to make up for our inconvenience.
Sadly the hotel has become dated needing refurbishment of bathrooms, plumbing and general modernisation within its historic and lovely interior.
Very sad to hear of all the Staff being made redundant."

"Very clean room and bathroom, full length anti slip mat for the bath.
Excellent tea could have done with more on the room.
Hotel close to town centre and easy to find.
Advise that you patk in the car park under the hotel, entrance is before the hotel car park entrance.
Pool, sauna clean and relaxing environment"

"60代の夫婦で北Wales観光の際に利用したこのホテル。駐車場が広々としていて、利用しやすかったです。市街の中心部に立地していて、色々なお店に徒歩でも比較的簡単にアクセスできました。
シャワールームにはバスタブが設置されていたので、お湯をはってゆっくりと入浴を楽しめました。
2026年7月の宿泊だったので(Walesでも連日、例年よりも暑い日が続いていました)、部屋の中に小型の扇風機があれば、さらに快適に過ごせたと思います。
ホテルはビリヤード台やゲーム機を備えたバブと同じ建物なので、そこで時間を過ごすのも楽しいでしょう。"

"Super friendly welcome by the hosts. The room was large and comfortable and we really enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the horses. The pub in the village was about a 5 minute drive away and was fantastic."

"The location of the property is fantastic. The biggest disappointment was we stayed over a very hot weekend and there was no installed air-conditioning therefore a Mobile Aircon unit was brought to the room but it didn’t work and the room was absolutely sweltering all weekend. We couldn’t sleep during the heat and it spoilt our stay."
