"Quite near to the centre, very clean room, #9 me & daughter stayed in, room with it's own courtyard, although I didn't use the courtyard much, it's a very nice touch to the property. Great stay all in all."

"Stayed in the deluxe room and at over £100 for the night with no breakfast, I did expect better. Drain in the shower had smell on arrival, but sorted quickly. Went to get into bed that night and the frame the mattress sits on came away from the frame and collapsed, so at had to "re-make" the bed. Morning noticed in the shower that there was black around the shower hose and dials and also ran out of toilet paper in the night (silly dispenser type thing on wall) with no spares. "The Steps up to the hotel are quite steep and especially for the elderly dangerous needs something doing to sort it out. Breakfast was quite good but the food was not piping hot eggs looked a bit bland buffet style, all in all quite good but would not stay again."

"I have never stayed at the Merrion Hotel before, but, after booking a short break there on Wednesday the 6th of April till the 10th of April, I must say, I was very impressed and pleasantly surprised how very good it was, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the buffet breakfast was excellent, and I am not sure if any other hotels in Llandudno could beat it, I certainly wouldn't hesitate to go back there again in the near future, keep up the good work Merrion From Mr lewin Thomas...

"Lovely large room and decent sized shower room. Free parking was a big plus point. Plenty of choice on the tea / coffee tray. Staff were helpful and courteous. Breakfast for my personal taste was a little underwhelming, large plate with only one item of each, and a poorly cooked poached egg. Good choice of cereals and yoghurts. Nice to have a cafetiere for the morning coffee. All in all though, I / we will be staying here again if in the area as it provides really good value for money in...

"We had a lovely stay, breakfast was amazing!! The only thing we can fault is the bed, it was so hard and uncomfortable that we felt bruised and battered the next morning! Would of definitely stayed another night if it hadn’t of been so uncomfortable as the weather picked up on the day we were leaving "

"The room was neat and tidy and clean. The furniture was old but not really of any particular era. A bit of a Mish mash with wardrobe doors just plain. A bit of edging and a decent colour would make the a lot nicer. Not sure if the sideboard supposed to have distressed look? But was not very well done. We were supposed to have a garden view?
