Enjoyed our stay.,.room.very nice,.although unfortunately our friends room the heating seemed to not be working. Ours was. Only downside really was some traffic noice from Lord Street. Other than that happy woth stay.

There are a lot of options for an evenings entertainment, music, outside and inside seating, dining in one of the associated businesses next door (The Grand, The Bold, Punch Tarmey's). We enjoyed our stay and will go back.

Well located hotel in prime position on Lord Street with pub, , restaurant, hall and piano bar attached. THE class venue in Southport. Highly recommended for memorable weekend away.

Stunning hotel, fabulous roof terrace

Beautiful room, lovely hotel, immaculately decorated. Harry’s roof bar is a fantastic, delicious cocktails at reasonable prices. As note you are supposed to book the roof terrace online. We’d definitely recommend a stay here, fab hotel and location

Lovely hotel; very high standards, fittings and furnishings. Lovely breakfast provided in The Grand Hotel across the road. Slightly inconvenient having to leave the hotel for breakfast but not a big problem. Very good waiting staff in The Grand and comfortable restaurant area.

Ok

Room.was clean and tidy and modern. Bit of a strange hotel as my room was directly above a bar, no blinds on window to front so had to have curtains constantly drawn or would of been a peep show. Very noisy at night from bar and road with ourside noise. Had to go over road for breakfast to another hotel, the gym was a 10 minite walk and not on site. Over all clean, but wouldn't stay again.

Lovely room and lovely staff. The average rating is due to loud music until 12.30 and then noisy people outside until late. Had I known we were staying over an Irish pub, I would not have booked. This needs to be made clear on site. We left a night early.

3 day short break

Short 3 day stay. Have stayed in this hotel before so knew it was ok. Staff are very good and friendly. Location is excellent right on Lord Street. I was put in an accessible room this time which i didn't need or ask for but it wasn't a problem. The bed was comfortable and the shower was a wet room. A couple of very small issues, one was no hooks anywhere so nowhere to hang towels or a cap. Also the bathroom didn't have the 2 pin shaver socket so couldn't recharge my electric toothbrush.

Probably one of the better hotels in Southport… but… Sadly: breakfast was in a sister hotel, not onsite. Rooms quite noisy due to ineffective soundproofing - especially noisy doors at night and in the mornings. Most staff were lovely. I merely booked another longer staff but hotels.com showed at least 6 rooms for my stay period but the lady on reception said they were full ! Who was wrong! So decent hotel - just need door closers, better showers and accommodate breakfast in the Grand rather than in the pub nearby.

It was good having the sports bar below the hotel, though it did sometime mean the receptionist was busy sering in the bar. The room was freezing when we arrived and the aircon heating kept switching off after 30mins. Relied on the batroom radiator to heat the whole room. The room itself was spacious for a cosy/small room and it was clean and nicely decorated. My wife particularly like the electric shower. The corridors were a bit of a maze with little signage to get you to reception. Glad there wasn't a fire.
