Brilliant location. Room was a bit small but adequate for our needs. Staff were lovely and friendly and we would certainly stay there again.
From the moment we arrived, we were delighted with our hotel choice. The setting was beatiful and we had a choice of well furnished and comfortable rooms. Lunch was fabulous and the staff were genuinely helpful and froendly. Everywhere was spotless and I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely inn.
the hotel is clean and rooms were comfortable staff are friendly and helpful breakfast was good the only complaint was the water in shower took ages in the morning to get to just warm.
The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My room was clean and quiet. The breakfast was excellent. There was an air of happiness there which was very welcome.
Fantastic views. Nice pub style hotel but room was very small, and directly above the bar, so bar music was intrusive. When music stopped easy to hear conversation in bar below.
Great overnight stay at this comfortable accommodation. Ihad the twin room (curlew) with single occupancy, definitely snug but with amazing views and very comfortable beds. Tea/coffee facilities and special mention for the beautifully appointed bathroom and shower ensuite. Food in the restaurant was excellent, if a little on the higher price end. Have to mention that I found the breakfast menu ordering system very strange, felt very pressured to make a decision on the "tick" box sheet and when i did, the young lady followed me and told me that I "Could only pick one as they are individual meals and quite large" . She acquiesced that I "could have the porridge and toast, but not the cooked breakfast as well ". As a seasoned traveller who had stayed in four different places that week, I felt quite embarrassed, and feel that the tick box system needs to clarify the requirements much more clearly. Having said this, my porridge and toast was delicious and the breakfast staff were lovely.
Very comfortable stay. Also note it was exceptionally quiet for a pub stay.
Chris, checked us in, and helped us up with my bag and got my daughter a duvet. That was great, as well as the fine full English breakfast.
The bathroom fan was dirty and inefficient.
There weren’t flannels or anything but 2 liquid soaps.
Instructions for how to turn on the shower would have been useful, and no dead giant spider in the bathroom.
Parking was not that easy to do, which led to me taking a chance the following morning and getting fined.
Nice friendly atmosphere, comfortable room reasonably priced a good beer and dinner, breakfast was just excellent, everything we wanted was served or sorted with a smile and quick
A nice stay. Basic accommodation, priced to reflect this I believe. A clean and tidy room. Great location, good bar with outside seating area which is cracking in nice weather.
Average stay, substantial hotel yet food not available after 19:45! So we had to go out for dinner. Room was ok, small double bed. Bathroom refurbished with a tiny narrow sink making it difficult to brush teeth & wash hands.
