Ocean Crest Inn and Suites

2/10 Terrible

"Old run down hotel. No water pressure in the shower. Sink faucet loose and about to come apart. Toilet not tightly secured on wax ring. Visible water damage on ceiling. Was advised by staff that elevators weren’t functional and no housekeeping available. We had to go to front desk to get more towels. Wi-Fi was non existent- had to go Panera to work. Very disappointed!"

"I recently stayed at the North Shore Oceanfront Hotel in Myrtle Beach and overall had a good experience. The biggest highlight was definitely the oceanfront view and easy beach access. The location is convenient, close to restaurants, attractions, and shops, while still feeling relaxing enough for a beach. I also enjoyed the pools, lazy river, and family-friendly amenities. The staff was friendly during check-in and helpful whenever we had questions. It’s a great spot for families, especially if you’re looking for something affordable right on the beach.The hotel does show some wear in certain areas and could use a few updates, but for the price and location, it was still worth it. If you’re looking for a fun, budget-friendly oceanfront stay in Myrtle Beach with beautiful views and easy beach access, North Shore is a solid option. One thing my kids absolutely loved about North Shore Oceanfront Hotel was the indoor water park area. It kept them entertained for hours and was perfect for families traveling with children. Between the pools, lazy river, and kid-friendly water features, there was always something fun for them to do even when we wanted a break from the beach. The beach access was also super convenient, and the oceanfront views were beautiful. Overall, it was a fun and family-friendly stay in Myrtle Beach that I would definitely recommend for families with kids."

"Rooms are dated. There was a weird smell in the hallway. Good thing is you have easy access to the beach and beach view was good. Bedrooms are closer to the main door and the living room is closer to the oceanfront which is a weird room layout. Breakfast was ok. Its not in same building and you need to walk across the street to get breakfast."
