"The check in was slow and unprofessional. The heat in the room was uncontrollable, therefore the stay wasn’t very enjoyable. The heat issue was brought up at check out and the attitude was “oh well too bad” "

"Room was dirty. Mold in the bathroom and debris on the floor. Toilet was dirty. Furniture outdated and severely worn. Arm chair was ratty and torn. Do not recommend this hotel."

"I enjoyed the uniqueness of the property. It was old, but the room was clean and spacious. The internet was a little slow, but the staff were very friendly. Breakfast was not grand--but certainly sufficient. It may not be as posh as some other places, but fair enough--it's less expensive."

"Our host and owner (Carmen) is courteous and welcoming. We felt at home as soon as we walked in the door. Her hotel is very clean and charmingly decorated. I loved the experience of being in an Inn that has been in operation since 1785. Being so close to the waterfront and downtown amenities was a plus as well. Will definitely stay here again! "
