"Great place with amazing views! Elena, the owner, was lovely but doesn't speak English. We managed with a few words each, a bit of sign language and a lot of Google translate. Rooms are perhaps unusual in decor but very comfortable and lots of choice for breakfast - particularly good omelette cooked freshly by Elena. Good tavernas within walking distance. Fabulous walking with the menalon trail. Very quiet and peaceful. And did I mention the views!"

"We absolutely love this property. It is beautiful and built completely from Stone with beautiful gardens and fruit trees that surrounded our property and the most stunning Stone terrace that overlooks the entire town and the port. The staff is accommodating and friendly and I couldn't say enough about this stay. There were a lot of mosquitoes and my kids got a bunch of bites, but that really isn't the fault of staff, just a heads up to bring some bug spray."

"I give Amphitryon Hotel 1 star because of the sea view from our room and it’s location, but our stay was terrible because: 1. Deceitful information on its web-site that said that the hotel, for a fee, offered a shuttle to and from the airport. Called them to ask about this and they gave me an email address to request the shuttle; I sent the email and someone at the hotel told me that they didnt offer this service but they could schedule a private driver on a Mercedes Benz for €210 each way.
