"This guest house was a great place to stay. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The owners were so friendly and helpful. They really made you feel at home. Convenient for walking around the shops and accessing restaurants. Easy and convenient parking. Great stay. Would recommend it!"

"Beautiful hotel, old building which has been done up to a really high standard but you still see the classy almost castle like feel of it. Staff were very friendly and kind. I really enjoyed the decor in the room and around the hotel, the spacious room and extremely comfortable bed. Only slight problem was the radiators filled with water at 6am and it woke us both up from the noise untill I had to get out of bed and turn off. Was quite upset about it but receptionist seemed surprised so assume...

"Check-in was quick and easy - the lady who checked us in was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Our room was lovely, with a large and comfortable bed, plenty of cushions, and a peaceful, warm atmosphere. There were also tea-making facilities and a fridge, which was a nice touch. We didn’t get a chance to try the spa or gym facilities this time, but breakfast was excellent - a great variety on offer, quick service, and perfectly cooked scrambled eggs! "A very satisfied stay at the Hawksmoor Guest House. The staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Breakfast was amazing and cooked from scratch. Our room was available earlier than stated and was very clean and comfortable. The location was great too, just a 15 minute walk to the town and Lake Windermere. We would highly recommend a stay here!! The Hollands!! "
