"Our stay was magical!! We were able to check in a little early and we were allowed to leave our car before check in so we could enjoy walking around and sight seeing. The location was perfect, it's close enough to walk to most of St Augustine's attractions, shops and restaurants. It's also just far enough from the busy st George Street so it's quiet and peaceful at night but still very very close and easy to walk to. The staff were amazing and accommodating. "Room and a hotel was very neat. Excellent location and veiw. Staff went above and beyond. Only complaint is lack of typical hotel amenities like ice machines and vending machines. Parking was inconvenient but location makes up for it."

"The wonderful Marriott "signature scent" was throughout the hallways, but the room itself stunk of human body. Had to ask that the room be serviced across a multi-day stay. Valet did not offer to help get luggage out of car. Eat breakfast elsewhere..$50 and sad"

"The staff goes out if their way to make sure you have everything you need for an exceptional stay. Rooms are extremely well maintained and breakfast is excellent. The location is in an ideal location close enough to walk to to all the shops and restaurants.We will be booking our winter stay there soon."

"Charm and location. The room we stayed in was truly like being home (we live in an 1892 Victorian) and we instantly fell in love with the decor. Unlike the "brand name" lodgings that we've become accustomed to The Powder House was the antithesis of the sterile institutional cookie cutter banality. The "staff" was charming, beyond hospitable, and very proud of the quality of the experience created for the quests.
