I couldn't believe this

Golden Arches WAS CLOSED and your site showed that had availiability! So we went there in the afternoon and we realised that it was closed and we had to find other option. After two hours searching we found a hotel in the same price. We were very angry and tired.How is this possible? Also we paid 20 euro for our staying in golden arches with visa, I hope this is not Real!

Soetwas darf nicht sein!!!

Wie darf man überhaupt als Hotelanbieter Hotels.com so ein Hotel anbieten?!? Das Zimmer ist unter aller "Kanone" und dies ist eine Gefährdung der eigenen Gesundheit!!! Leider hatte ich keine Zeit für eine Reklamation, Zimmer- oder sogar Hotelwechsel, doch dieses Hotel.............

Worst hotel

We stayed in thehotel for 10 nights and if wr hadn't paid all in full before our arrival, we would have checked out. The room was very dirty when we checked in. Many dead as well asalive insects in the room. One light bulb exploded when my brother just turned on the light which resulted in a black out in our room. The breakfast was the most disgusting thing you can ever see, insects flying all over the food, in addition to cats wondering all around the hotel breakfast area and lobby. The towels in the bathroom had human hair in them, ew!

Could be so much better

A nice clean reasonably modern hotel, well priced. The staff attitude was fantastic, enthusiastic, and courteous. Room was good, however the double electrical socket was not secured to the wall properly so using any electrical goods could be problematic, and potentially dangerous thankfully i did not have children.

Ich bin begeistert

Modernes sauberes hotel mit seitlichen Meerblick. Schön eingerichtete Zimmer und nettes Personal. Der Eingangsbereich ist gut gestaltet. Und das Frühstück war sogar dabei. Strand innerhalb kurzer Zeit zu erreichen.

Hotel with lovely pool close to the beach

My main reason for going to Cyprus was to visit family. I chose this hotel as it's located on the main coastal road with lots of parking space and close to a motorway junction. My general impression is that the management keeps the common areas (lobby and pool) in pristine condition, however even though the rooms are spacious they have seen better days. From what I've seen, the hotel seems to be hosting a lot of functions whilst keeping guest floors closed which explains the above. Still if you want to be in the Amathus area and avoid luxury resorts or self serviced apartments, this is the alternative option. If you have no car, there is a frequent bus service to the main tourist area and city centre. Special mention to the chambermaid that took the initiative and changed the broken toilet seat in the room.

I was here on my way to Pafos, and I didn't expect much, but it was so clean and really nice looking inside! And very friendly staff. Very nice place and I'd like to go here if I come back to Cyprus.

Lack of Staff but Good Price

When I arrived in this hotel at 7pm, there was nobody at reception and I waited 20 minutes there. In the morning one lady deals with both the restaurant and reception. Room is OK and price excellent. This is a budget hotel among the luxury hotels in the tourist area east of the city and can be reached by the frequent bus No 30 from the old port.

Abbiamo alloggiato una settimana all'Hotel Golden Arches. Colazione molto scarna, pochissima scelta. Possibilità di raggiungere il mare a piedi, piscina dell'Hotel buona, piuttosto pulito. Letto non matrimoniale, due letti singoli uniti, piccoli, cuscino piccolissimo. Tutto a pagamento, frigo in camera e cassetta di sicurezza. Tv non satelittare, solo canali in lingua greca. Adattatore per presa estera a noleggio, meglio portarselo, e poche prese di corrente in camera, con un solo adattatore. Tutto sommato positivo. Zona non ricca di locali o vita serale, piuttosto desolato intorno.
