We booked two rooms for one night for a business trip. The check in was problematic as the staff did not find it from system. The second issue was the missing visa. It took a lot of time to explain that travelling from Finland to China requires no Visa. As it was late, we where delighted about the possibility for western food in the restaurant. Unfortunately the restaurant and bar were closed and the only western food possible was french fries. So we opted for a bottle of wine from France that the friendly lady asked if we would wish to have it opened. We kindly replied "Yes" as we did not bring the wine bottle opener with us. She disappeared once the bottle was open and the bottle was paid. But the smell of the wine was still left. It was unbelievable. The bottle was from 2013 and smelled like urine. Once we tried to get hold of the waiter, the reception understood this as "water". So for the bottle of wine we were compensated by having to bottles of water. The next morning we tried to explain this once again without any success. And to complain about the non working AC in the room which made it impossible to sleep over night. To all fellow travellers, please be aware that although this is listed as Ramada Hotel, it has nothing to do with a real Ramada hotel you may be experienced somewhere else in the world. This is simply a hotel I would never book again and advise you to do the same.

Good service, nice hotel.

I arrived at 3 am and the night time receptionist assigned me a room that was smaller than the one I had booked. The next evening when I retuned from business meetings the Ramada sales manager was extremely apologetic and deducted RMB200 from the room rate and offered an upgrade to a top suite for my second night, which was very good particularly as I was unaware that I hadn't been put in the room I had booked. The hotel was very quiet but there was a pre-launch of a buffet in anticipation of a busier period, which looked to be of a very high standard. Standard of English among the reception staff was good. Comfortable room and nice bar area.
