"I booked a room described as a 'Double or twin room with sea view'. In the notes of the booking, I requested twin beds but I was allocated a double room. The man serving me - older gentleman, white hair - would have struggled to care less. No apology, he just blamed Expedia and gave us a room with no view, which wasn't how we wanted to end our trip. There are signs everywhere telling guests what all the rules are. The hotel feels like an old people's home rather than a holiday destination. ...

"Extremely disappointing stay. I booked for 3 people, but the room was only suitable for 2. The third bed was tiny, rock hard and not fit for proper sleep. I could not let my son sleep on it, so I had to use it myself and eventually ended up on the floor. After driving over 8 hours, this completely ruined what was meant to be a nice family trip. "The hostel was clean and comfortable. Room and bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. The view from the panoramic lounge was amazing and it was well stocked with board games and toys for the children to play with. Torridon is a short walk away with a general store and there is a lovely cafe nearby too. "

"We spent one night in this beautiful and historic B&B, in a comfortable cosy room. The host was very welcoming, offering us a drink, suggesting places for dinner, and helping guide us to the ferry. Breakfast was wonderful and this set us up well before our ferry trip. The location was ideal and we would definitely stay here again."

"This is one of the poorest hotels we have stayed in for a long time. A disappointing venue for a wonderful Scottish location. Unfriendly, unhelpful reception staff, a filthy bedroom, dated & dirty. The corridors are depressing and very dated. High prices due to the season & location, and no doubt low supply meaning they get away with this, shocking. The beds were reasonably comfortable and breakfast was pleasant, but I can’t say I would recommend staying here."
