"The staff here were nothing short of excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Hot and cold buffet breakfast, had an evening meal, the haddock and chips was to die for. Clean and tidy room, unfortunately we had a downstairs room which looked out over the front of the hotel, probably a net curtain or maybe some kind of blind would have offered some privacy as arriving guests were outside our window. The hotel would benefit from a bit of money spending on it as it was quite tired in places."

"The Millcroft has a restaurant with a very good range of menu options and a good breakfast menu too. There is also a friendly public bar, loved by the locals."

"The ceiling in the bathroom was covered in mould it was room 37 the draft from the old windows was dreadful, rooms tiny but worst thing the walls were paper thin could here next door cough , snore and the voices , the bed my god had more lumps in it than porridge, check in wa 4 o’clock even premier inns are 3 pm and I offered to pay extra as we were there 2 hrs early as we had travelled hundreds of miles and they said no , we left at 8am next morning with out breakfast so for 16 hrs it cost £157...

"A historical lodge, but needs some TLC. However, the dinner and breakfast was excellent and the owner was super friendly. All in all a great stay."

"Incredible property the room was above and beyond our expectations. Clawfoot tub, coffee bar, the best bed and lovely hosts. Walking distance to Ullapool. We wished we had stayed for two nights. Very thoughtful touches to the room and our stay. We hope to be back one day!"

"The hostel was clean and comfortable. Room and bathrooms were very clean. Kitchen was well stocked. The view from the panoramic lounge was amazing and it was well stocked with board games and toys for the children to play with. Torridon is a short walk away with a general store and there is a lovely cafe nearby too. "

"Our room only had 1 bedside cabinet for 2 beds. It wasn't immediately obvious how to obtain our included breakfast, and when I asked a member of staff about it, she seemed surprised."
