"It was my first time in a Gasthof, and this one was a very good suprise, the room was very clean, and had a gigantic shower, the view to the Bavarian Alps was amazing. The restaurant is very Austrian traditional with fabulous food, the family that runs this Gasthof is really friendly and helpful, very good place for resting after bycicle trips. Overall was an amazing experience and i know were to stay next time when visiting Salzburg. Ps take bus number 5 , takes 20 min to city center. "

As a note, contrary to what I had read on another website … the temporary S. of M. museum (that is opening in 2026 at ‘Hellbrunn ‘) artifacts are NOT located at the ‘Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron’."
