"I really enjoyed my stay. It looks like I stayed while the place was being renovated. My room looked brand new. The bed was so comfortable, soft amd clean as well as the pillows. I loved having a couch to relax on. The towels looked brand new so soft and clean. The breakfast was delicious and filling. Staff was do friendly and i got the place at a great price. I hope I have to go back to the area to stay there again. Thank u so much for an enjoyable time. "

"This place is charming and nestled in the woods of east Texas, it’s great for unwinding and getting away from the city for a few days, beautiful outdoor deck for birdwatching or just relaxing, Room was very comfortable and clean, the breakfast that we ate was outstanding, the owners were very hospitable and we will be going back. However the front desk people were extremely helpful and got it straightened out. Second, the air conditioner was in the bathroom area and did not work well. The sheets though clean were scatchy, there was no water pressure the shower unless you turned it full hot, the "breakfast" was granola bars and apples, there was light showing between the door and outside, the door frame inside was coming off, of the two towels provided one was grey, they were very small, the bathmat was stained with something black. This was an old super 8 property it was very run down. "
