"Our stay was okay, but I’d say expensive for what it was. It has a relatively dated interior, with no air con (biggest issue) - as even in 22-25 degrees, the room was like a sauna. Also, you pay £20 per night for a dog, and don’t even get a food bowl or dog bed. All that was provided for our dog was a water bowl. Not sure what we’re paying £20 per night for."

Fantastic full English with great sausages. Nothing seemed too much trouble Thanks for a great stay at a difficult time."

"Lovely village, friendly and helpful staff, ample free parking. Sadly no breakfast available at the Inn but manager happy for breakfast to be brought in from the village shops. Pub bar below was quiet, the room was clean and nicely laid out, but a bit tired and could do with a lick of paint to revive it. Overall good value."

"After a full day of walking what a treat the Station House was! Beautifully decorated room, comfortable bed, lots of hot water, the use of the common room, a informative book about the property and local suggestions as well as a cafe of delicious food."

"This was our second stay at Fowlescombe Farm and it only reinforced our view that it is one of the most special places to stay in the UK. This time we stayed in the Pond Suite, which was every bit as beautifully designed and comfortable as our previous accommodation, with lovely views across the surrounding countryside. Being one of just three rooms within the Farmhouse, we particularly enjoyed having direct access to the spacious, well-equipped kitchen and the cosy lounge areas...
