"This was a stop over on a business trip from Colorado to Minnesota. This one day was the highlight of my week. A great way to relax and enjoy. Staff was wonderful and accomodations were plenty. WE ate at the restaurant, great food, great view and staff was attentive, friendly and went above and beyond. Thank you to the Spearfish Lodge! We will be back! "

"This is a great older property on the highway as you come into Lead from Deadwood. I used to live in town so .camilair with the property and it's history. They have cabins and rooms. We stayed in a room. It was roomy even with a King size bed, plus had a loveseat, tall dinette, dresser, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Pet friendly property. They are in the process of remodeling the rooms/cabins and other buildings (4/2026), and are adding a fenced-in dog area. There is also a covered...

"Room was ok, we had a king suite. Tv was placed on dresser so it was hard to watch from the bed. The bed pillows were small for a king bed, more like a throw pillow. Bathroom did have an oversized bathtub, but you really didn’t want to use it for the bathroom fan was so loud! Our coffeemaker was missing a part so couldn’t make coffee in am. When we told him at front desk, he replied, ‘we have coffee down here.’The lounge area had chairs pushed off to the side and you always had to go get...
