"Was told by another guest that this is a very Historic hotel....while the room seemed clean there was only one bulb in the 4 light fixture in the bathroom, the tub seemed to have been relined but was flaking. Very basic room, mini fridge that froze my iced tea and lemonade, did not use the microwave, no coffee maker in room not sure if they offered in the small office but check in clerk was very abrupt, hard to understand and a bit rude so I did not go back in until checkout time. "Everything was great, the upstairs areas and bedrooms were 79 degrees during the day to evenings before bed then would get cooler as the night/mornings came around. But other than that a great neat place to stay!!!!! Very easy to get to from airport and SeaWorld and downtown river walk."

"I am not sure how people are giving those rarings for this garbage hotel. There is MOLD everywhere , bathrooms are terrible . The house keeping is very bad they don’t clean properly. The rooms smells bad and AC does not work. The biggest worst is LIFT. Oh my god you have to wait hours."

"We arrived a few hours earlier than the expected check-in but we were able to leave our vehicle parked and dropped off our bags with front desk. Front desk clerk and valet were incredibly helpful and nice, appreciated their help and attention. Hotel is located within walking distance to Riverwalk, mall, Alamo and other major attractions in downtown area. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. There were a few stains on the walls in our bedroom and we did have to ask for sheets for sofa bed,...

"Our first room wasn’t great, the fridge didn’t work and the shower head needed maintenance, we switched rooms and our second room was great!!! The hotel staff helped us so much with that switch up and my husband and I had a fantastic time. The only downside was that the key card for the parking garage was hit or miss if it worked or not, but we could easily press “call for help” and they verified our info and everything worked out."
