Absolutely loved our stay here. It’s even more beautiful in person, the staff were so friendly and helpful, the view from our room was amazing. Our entire stay far exceeded our expectations. Would rate them higher if we could.

We highly recommend Hotel Alpenruhe! The staff is super helpful and we were always met with a smile. They went above and beyond to accommodate in many ways! The property was very nice and clean with an unimaginable view! If I ever get the chance to go back to Wengen, Switzerland, I will stay here again! Super stay!

Nicely renovated and updated property with amazing views of the valley from the gardens. Our room was small but cleverly furnished and comfortable. Great breakfast. 10 minute uphill walk from the town center- definitely take the ride up if you have luggage. Excellent breakfast with good staff.

As it is so far up from the station, it needs a restaurant on site with a bar. Staff was excellent and helpful. They do send a car to pick up the bags and drop them at the station

This location is up a hill but provide the most beautiful view of the valley from our balcony which was a corner room second floor. It is family owned and there is ice and water in the foyer and our room was a good larger size for 2 with storage and a sweet balcony with a small table and chairs. There is transportation to get luggage to and from the train. Breakfast is a lovely assortment of eggs to order, pastries , cheese and cereals and coffees. Just lovely. Wengen is a small walking town. Don’t miss the royal walk taken after the gondola in town for awesome views without a big hike.

We loved our stay at this property. The room was incredibly clean and we loved the storage shelves. Our balcony was perfect and the views are the absolute best! We loved the honor fridge in the lobby - so convenient. The breakfast was delicious! 100% worth walking up the hill for this hotel. Super nice to be in the quiet area. Highly recommend staying here!

Our 6 night stay was wonderful.The view from our balcony room was amazing!! Staff very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent and breakfast staff were amazing. Room was very clean with everyday cleaning. Would recommend this to anyone looking to stay in Wengen.
