Highly recommend

Great location on the lake, lovely hotel with very friendly staff. We booked a toom woth a lake view and it didnt disappoint. There was a bemch seat worh cuahions at the wondow and the view was beautiful. Breakfast was very good quality with so much choice.

Lovely lakeside hotel.

A lovely short stay visiting family. The hotel and staff were very good. Room excellent. We upgraded to a lake view and the room and view was exceptional.

Super hotel with amazing lake views

Chose this hotel due to its proximity to the Olympic museum. Turned out to be a wonderful choice! Great staff. Super convenient for the metro, just a couple of mins walk. Very comfy and convenient. Amazing view of the lake which was stunning.

I had an excellent stay at Mövenpick Hotel Lausanne the past weekend. My room had a generous lake view, which I enjoyed very much. The room was clean, nicely decorated, and spacious. The restaurant offers a great selection of signature dishes, I liked the chestnut soup. I am definitely planning to visit again next year.

Beautiful location, a bit outdated

Much like all big chain properties this hotel has all the right elements, location, great service, nice restaurant and bar and a killer view if u r lucky but it needs to be updated. The old carpet, although clean, is not very inviting. The glass partition is an upgrade to the curtains but the water leaks from under the seals that need replacement. Overall the staff were very helpful and courteous and it was a pleasant stay.

Good stay but chocolate hour is misleading

The rooms were nice, very good view. The breakfast was good, good selection. And the staff were friendly. I can recommend the perch in the restaurant and of course the delivious Mövenpick ice cream (maple and walnut is to die for!) Overall the stay was good. However the Mövenpick website states "Tick-tock, it’s mmm-o’clock. When the clock strikes chocolate, it’s time to tuck in, with all Mövenpick hotels worldwide treating guests to 60 delicious minutes of sweet indulgence daily; it’s a devour hour not to be missed" - this is a complete laugh! We asked about chocolate hour at the bar at the dedicated time, only to be met with blank stares and then a promise of a table to be set out shortly in reception. Eventually there were white, dark and milk chocolates and a fruit/ nut chocolate but it wasn't an occasion as described on the website. The next day we returned to the hotel during chocolate hour and there was nothing there! Either do it, and make it good or remove it off the website, as it was hardly something to boast about.
