Booking for the property was quick and we received instant notification. It is situated in a quiet area with character homes close by. You can access all areas of the city easily. Swimming pool is near by. We would recommend this as a place to choose to stay.

Fantastic federation home with lots of character. Queen room was beautiful , host Susana was lovely & attentive. Easy check-in. Easy downhill walk to city. Would stay again if in Launceston again. Thank you!

Beautiful place to stay in Launceston. Room was clean and very well maintained. Morning breakfast was excellent. Launceston is quite hilly and this is right at the top as the name suggests, but very convenient to the city. 5 star

Beautiful old building, but room was a disappointment for the price. Bathroom was clean but very dated probably 1980's. Did not receive text about access or breakfast times but i had trouble with i messages at the time. Breakfast was good and breakfast server was very accommodating when I wanted breakfast early. Bed was very comfortable but light coming through the blind helped me get a bad nights sleep. Being Launceston one would expect a heater in the bathroom but there wasn't one. No information in the room on how to operate the heater or breakfast times etc. Overheard a guest saying heater didn't work until I told them about the switches inside. Overall a bit disappointed at this premium price point.

Building is reflection of upper class 1890s and provides an authentic combination of modern and early 20th century style with original timbers, large european style bedrooms with very comfortable modern bedding provided. Breakfast was fresh, healthy and the host for the day, Jason, was a friendly and hospitable person. excellent experience overall.
