"The staff were excellent. Very efficient and friendly. We had a couple of minor issues which were dealt with quickly and efficiently. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us. "Architecture is interesting and authentic for 100 yrs or so ago when built. Lots of common areas for seating and socializing. Room was spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. No AIR CONDITIONING! Fan present but falls short of a comfortable temp when hot outside (as it was for my stay). Staff were friendly and greeted us upon arrival. Explained facilities and processes. Bathroom was clean with a nice cast iron enameled tub/shower. Room was a bit lacking for counter/storage space."
