"A lovely hotel with a great pool area, selection of restaurants and welcoming staff. Onsite spa is small but fabulous.
We went bed and breakfast but an all inclusive option is available if you plan to stay put. The small port of Puerto Calero is a short walk along the shoreline - turn left out of the gate at the bottom of the hotel - with several bars and restaurants facing the marina."
"Beautiful hotel set on the lower slopes of Lanzarote, looking out on to the sea. The hotel is stunningly designed, with large rooms, amazing breakfasts, and a great pool. It is secluded and with only 20. rooms, it feels like a personally curated experienced. If you are wanting easy access to a beach and other restaurants (the hotel has its own restaurant but the menu is fairly expensive), this is probably not the hotel for you. "Our second stay at Los Zocos (5-12 July) following a trip there in Feb of this year. It was much busier this time compared to February. The only downside was the race to get a parasol in the morning. One family was getting up at 5:30 to secure theirs and we ended up having to get up between 6:00-6:30 to find a decent spot. It was hot so we needed a parasol to stay by the main pool all day. The quiet pool is less busy though. That was the only negative.

"Been so many times. The hotel has now changed what you get for All Inclusive so that was disappointing as we hadn’t been informed. Couple of issues this time ."

"We love this unique hotel run by Jose Antonio. The entire staff is so wonderful! It’s our third year staying here. They offer a daily breakfast. Each room is uniquely designed. We were a little disappointed that our AC didn’t work properly and smelled of mold. There are additions being made to the hotel and we are excited to see the new rooms and pool. Well be back again next year!"
