The place was short staffed. I had to change rooms on day 1, no heat in that room.
The pool and the bar lounge have been closed since 2020. The parking is janky at best. They look like they are barely keeping the place open.
The building was probably beautiful in its hay day. There was no real lighting on the outside of the building. The carpets definitely need replaced in the lobby. There were homeless people sleeping on the couches as part of a state program, which is great! Wish this was happening in other places. But it does seem to be keeping business from what was probably a nice hotel. Pet friendly so that’s really nice. The pictures on Expedia are very misleading. Real “Shinning” vibes from this place.
The entire hotel was not clean. There was wrappers, crumbs, food, empty bottles…any possible trash you could think of anywhere you looked. We got to our room an it smelled bad, food all over the floor, empty pop bottles under the tables, the beds were made messy with yellow stains all over the blankets and a tooth pick flosser made into one of the beds. I was then given a new cleaned room that only verified the room we previously had was not cleaned before we got there. However, we found the next morning while going to take showers that the towels looked like that had just been folded and placed on the rack after wiping a**. Every amenity the hotel had to offer, (pool, hot tub, restaurant, breakfast, and even cable tv) were all unavailable. Luckily my stay there was solely just somewhere to lay my head for work over the weekend but I would never recommend a stay here as there was nothing positive about my experience.
Seems like this hotel used to be nice at one point... but the entire place seemed deserted but I had already booked it on Expedia... I walked in and it smelled bad. Checked in, went to my room and checked for bed bugs and stuff but everything appeared clean.
I left to pick up dinner and on my return found a puddle of urine in the elevator.
This led me to do some research on Google and discovered that recently the city broke up a homeless encampment nearby and moved all the homeless people into this very hotel!
So, while I'm impressed and proud of the city for taking care of it's less fortunate residents, I do think there should be some sort of notification or something indicating if you'll be the only "housed" person staying at the hotel.
Either way, I have a feeling once the city isn't paying this hotel to house people it'll be out of business in a short matter of time. It seemed like this massive building was on it's last leg.
Staff was amazing! Hotel is nice. The only thing I can say bad is that it’s super weird to me to not let DoorDash or anything bring your items to the room never had that before otherwise great stay for this wrestling family!

Room was nice enough and the staff was friendly and the bed was probably the best we've encountered at a hotel. Though the hotel seems to be serving as a shelter. We didn't experience any issues due to this, but overheard staff conversations and signs on the door forbidding media access imply issues aren't unheard of, though couldn't say if they are more frequent than with the general population.
the room had maybe 4 working light-bulbs between the main room and the bathroom, the fan was dangling form the ceiling, there was NOT enough water pressure to shower, and the temperature was luke warm at best. i have pics of most of this. the tv was unwatchable, the picture was 1080 res, the SCREEN was 720 at best, MOST of the picture was off the edges. the thermostat was digital, but only had to setting internally. freezing cold, or oven hot. there WERE NO AMENITIES AT ALL, they are all marked closed until further notice, and the desk girl said they had been closed for nearly a year already. there is only ONE way in or out, parking in the back had 2 people trying to break into my car with in 10 minutes, thank god i forgot something and went back, there is NO exterior lighting, i drive past the place 3 times before spotting it. the staff was great, but the building is unacceptable. at all. wonderful bed and pillows, though, giving credit where its due.
Hotel staff was extremely rude at the front desk. It took almost 2 hours to get batteries for the remote because the batteries were missing. The floor they put me on was under construction. The floor wasnt finished. The room had nothing plugged in. There was a fdirty soc left in the bathroom.
My first room I had . It was blood found on the sheets . Went to first desk and the nicely put me in another room. Second room was better . But went to take a shower and reach under the sink and it was a bag of dirty diapers for adults. That didn’t clean the room completely! People playing loud music in the hallways all night! Really want my money back or partly

Fairly easy check in. The room was a very good value for the price. Loud neighboring guests. A front desk representative interrupted my wife's phone conversation to ask what room she was staying in. The inference was that she wasn't supposed to be there.

The room was actually dirty. Especially the bed. It was awful
None of the additional facilities are open at this time - pool, restaurant, breakfast, are all closed. I was aware at the time I made reservation. Facilities are definitely dated and in need of updating. Beds, linens, bathroom, etc., were OK - not great, not awful. The parking facilities were in definitely need of security and maintenance updating.
When I pulled up the whole parking lot was dark and I was not sure if it was open. The front desk person told me she did not see my reservation and that the computer and printer was giving her trouble. The lobby it's self actually looked nice, however, that was the only part that looked nice. There is a sign taped to the front desk that said the restaurant , pools, hot tub, and bar were all closed; according to reviews it has been that way for 3+ years. The hallway floors were ripped up and it looked like it was a remodel that had been paused. Some one spilled a soda all over the elevator and there was no sign anyone planned on cleaning it. Half of the light bulbs in the room didn't work and the TV operated on antenna only. The windows were poorly insulated and the road noise sounded as if the window was open.
Overall this has the bones and look of a once prominent conference center that has since fallen into disrepair and it seems that with each passing month that could be the last of this hotel being open.
