Overall resort has a terrible stench, problem with their sewage treatment. The room is very run down and the hot shower in our room is not working. The mini fridge is missing in our room. After our complaint to the reception they only replace the fridge on the 2nd night. The only good thing about this resort is the location, nearby eatery places. The hotel name has changed to Airis Sanctuary Resort since July but no one informed us.

First of all, this property has changed management and been renamed 'Airis Sanctuary' since Jun 2019. It would be good if you could update your website as we had trouble trying to locate it on Waze. The property is very poorly maintained and the sewage smell that comes out from the drain is terrible. It even permeates the lobby at times. Overall the property is in poor condition and understaffed. Our room was not cleaned on the second day of stay. The room had only two lights (bulbs) and one was fused when we checked in. We reported it but nobody fixed it. The next day we reported it again and until we checked out it was not fixed.

Ok value, not luxurious

Was alright for the price. Not luxurious but not too far from the beach and a lot cheaper than most beachfront places. River in the middle of the chalets was a bit of a brown swamp. Chose not to eat, drink or swim here but it was chose enough to good bars and restaurants (Sugar and One Love in particular) not to matter

don't book there not worth the money

staff seemed friendly but asking them to fix your tv . I had to do it my self.. the lady boys at front desk was to busy playing on the phones and when it came to night time asking them for some thing. they was to busy I'm the other hotel rooms partying . and getting ready to go out.. the breakfast was so late kitchen filthy. and the swimming pool was green that u could not see your hand in it.. I would never stay there again.. room was acceptable

mauvais trip

Attention a cet hôtel! Nous avons subi un vol dans notre chambre bien que notre argent était dans un coffre! Bien que nous ayons porte plainte aucune poursuite aupres du personnel ni dédommagement ! Nous ne reviendrons plus jamais en Malaisie trop mauvaise expérience !!!!!!

Cider price has increased over night

The pool bar was nice. But the price of the cider has increased over night. The beer is quite expensive for a duty free island. They should sell some small bites at the Pool area

Not really family friendly hotel

This hotel building design is very nice but not the interior of the room. The most concerned of me is the sound proofing. We can hear whoever talk or tv sounds of the next room guest. This is not only inside the room but we can hear from outside of others room too. And the breakfast choice is few so everyday we only eat bread and egg.

A Bit Sad

A bit dated and neglected in need of attention mould in shower...Pool area never cleaned in 5 days and pool quite dirty....Breakfast Very Hit & Miss one day we were given McDonald's?...Staff were busy doing nothing most of the day....and left clean laundry abandoned on the path for nearly 24 hrs...Shame as it has a nice position and surroundings..

Do not expect much

Hotel is in a good location is about the best I can say about this hotel. Rooms are poorly maintained and cleaned and not serviced daily unless you complain. Breakfast is limited for westerners, toast, cereal and baby hotdog sausages unless you like rice and noodles. Pool was clean for the day of arrival but did not seen the pool cleaned while there as had many insects and leaves floating (even a dead frog) in it.

저렴하고 괜찮은 리조트지만 .. 조식 및 시설은 크게 기대하지 않는 게 좋아요,

조식은 시리얼 제외하고 정말 먹을 거 없으니 라면가져가셨으면 그걸 드시는 걸 추천드려요. 저렴한 가격에 독채를 쓸 수 있다는 점이 가장 큰 장점이라고 생각하고 리조트 내에 바 가 있어서 뭐 드시기에는 나쁘지 않아요. 바로 옆에 큰 바도 있었고.. 음 차도를 따라 걷긴하지만 10분 정도 걸으면 마트가 있구요 과일같은거 팔더라구용 흠.. 체낭 번화가와는 매우 멉니다. 걸어가시는건 ..아닌것 같아요.= 문짝이나 이런저런게 고장나고 와이파이가 계속 튕겼는데 와이파이는 저만 그런것 같고... 카드키로 문 안열리는건 말씀드리니까 친절하게 열쇠로 주셨어요. 직원분들 정말 친절하세요. 그점은 매우 만족스러워요. 음.. 조식제외하면 정말 괜찮다고 생각합니다.

Un' occasione perduta

Posto che sarebbe molto carino sia come posizione che come struttura. Peccato sua molto sporco con una colazione scarsa sia di qualità che di quantità. Partito 2 giorni prima del previsto no nonostante avessi prepagato anche per le pessime condizioni atmosferiche

Average hotel, value for money.

Room reasonably clean. We stayed for 2 nights. On first day, found that basin of bathroom was not draining, informed receptionist and requested for repair. Upon returned to room in evening, someone appeared to have attended to faulty drainage of basin but still Not draining! Request to look into this problem the next day, till we checked out on 3rd day, problem Not Resolved!

Hits and misses

The hotel could have been the cosy, laidback resort it set out to be if not for the general upkeep which was appalling. Our rooms were clean, but the aircon was wonky, every unit's door creaked terribly (we were woken every morning by our early-rising neighbours), the basin almost disconnected from the wall when I leaned on it (!!), and the towels were stained yellow. At least the wifi and tv reception was great. The main reason I chose this hotel was the pool, which looked lovely in the online photos. But in reality, it was filled with all manner of fallen foliage and dead insects, and a male staff who was sweeping around the pool simply shrugged and said he had no idea when or IF the pool would be ready. Don't EVER opt for the breakfast. The selection was paltry and tasted terrible (how do you screw up fried eggs?), and the cook spent more time staring into space and watching tv, which explained why the food and coffee were constantly running short. The hotel is too far from any decent eateries and the main Cenang area, which was fine with me since I wanted somewhere quiet. The nearest beach is Tengah Beach about ten minutes' walk away, much quieter and less commercialised than Cenang Beach. The hotel's only saving grace is its reception staff who were helpful and friendly and generous with info.
